I think one of mistake we do as educator is to provide training for teachers only and forget parents .
Both teacher and parents need trainings.

An Individual Education Plan or IEP, is an individualised plan or programme designed for children with SEN to describe the provision and adaptations that they need in order to access their learning, and to set personalised targets.
An IEP sets out realistic strategies and objectives that the child will be able to meet, and monitors their progress with these.

Teaching a gifted and talented child is so technical. First thing is to carry out assessment to know the strength and weakness so as to draw an IEP that will suit their needs.
They grab information within short period and u must be able to think ahead of them. Materials must be available so as to challenge them. Mr Salam
