Every child carries a world of dreams,
Soft with wonder, bright with hope.
May their laughter never be silenced,
May their innocence never be stolen,
May their hearts never know fear.
Even in a society that does not always keep them safe.
We hold space for their laughter, and also for the realities they face.
Today, we reaffirm our commitment to building safer communities where every child is protected, valued, heard, and free to simply be a child.
Happy Children’s Day from all of us at Lagos DSVA.
