Princess Evelyn smiled the moment her maid told her about the arrival of Prince Charles, her Fiance. They've being together for almost a year now and it's really working greatly between them. They love each other a lot and they will soon get married.

" How do I look Zara??" She asked her personal maid

" You are the most beautiful lady I've ever seen my Princess " Zara replied and Evelyn laughed

" You sure knows how to make me feel good,,but that's not true. Am not that beautiful you know? " Princess Evelyn said with a smile

" Hmm,My Princess?? Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. You have a very beautiful heart,,, but you're even more luckier that the God of Beauty blessed you with this face my Princess " Zara said

" Oh Zara,,what do I do with you?? " Evelyn held her cheeks which was red already

" My Princess,, we need to go. Prince Charles is waiting,,am sure tonight's dinner will be the best " Zara said with a cute smile

" Yeah I guess,,but what do you think father want to talk about?? " Evelyn asked standing up

" Who knows,,until you get there " Zara replied

Evelyn nodded and walked out of the room with Zara behind her,,her dress was almost touching the floor. Well life of a princess.

" Wow my love,,you look amazingly beautiful " Charles said taking her hand

" You are not looking bad either " Evelyn replied and he leaned closer before placing a kiss on her lips

After the short kiss,,they both started their walk to the royal dining room. It was almost getting dark at that time.

Getting to the royal dining room,,they joined the king and the queen,Evelyn is their only daughter, the crowned Prince live in the states.

" Your Highness " Evelyn and Charles both bowed

" You two are late " The queen said

" We are sorry mother,it was my fault, taking too long to dress up " Evelyn said and the king smiled

" You look so beautiful my Princess " King Albert said

" Thank you father " Princess Evelyn said and they both sat down.

" I will see you in the morning Princess" Charles said as they stopped right in front of Evelyn's room.

" Thanks" She smiled shyly

" Goodnight my love " Charles said and gave her a peck on her lips before heading toward the guest room with one of the palace guards behind him.

Princess Evelyn fell on the bed trying hard to keep the happiness she was feeling at that moment,,,

" Why is my lady so happy?" Zara asked behind her helping her with the lace of her dress

" You won't believe it,,father want us to get married as soon as possible. Am I not the luckiest person in the whole world?" Evelyn sighed happily

" Of course you are,,getting married to the person you love and love you in return is really a great thing my lady " Zara replied

" Thanks Zara,I just can't wait. " Evelyn said getting out of her dress

They walked into the bathroom together

" I don't want to stress you too much Zara,at least let me do this myself,for tonight" She said getting into the bathtub

" If I leave,that means am leaving my responsibility my lady. You don't have to worry about me,maybe I love being stressed " Zara replied and Evelyn laughed

" Can't get enough of your talks Zara". Evelyn said

After taking her bath and helping her with her night wear and robe,Zara bid her a goodnight and walked out of the room.

Sighing out,Evelyn grab one of the book on her reading table. She love reading,,mostly about different creatures which she doesn't seem to believe exists in the real world.

Still she love reading about them,,

She laid on the bed and started reading the book,

" Gosh I wish I can stop this wicked vampire,,how can he kill so ruthlessly? It's a good thing it always happen only in novels " Evelyn commented as she read

She doesn't know how long she read until she slept off.

CITY OF GREEN FLOWER ✍️

Inside a large castle which look odd compared to a normal castle any normal person will think of,,

Alessandro rushed down the stairs and checked another room but still it was empty,,

" Not again" He muttered and immediately left the room going back Upstairs. He walked for few seconds and finally stopped in front of a room,,he knocked on the door as gentle as he could.

"Alessandro ,come in " A Tiny voice said and he entered

" Any problem??" Amber ,a woman who look like she's hardly twenty years of age even though she's an Ancillae( 50_300 in the vampire age rank )

" We have a problem" Alessandro muttered

" Tell me "

" His Highness,,,disappeared again " He answered

" What?!!!" Amber shouted

As Princess Evelyn laid on the bed feeling so comfortable,she suddenly felt cold,the wild breeze keep on blowing all over her body that she was about to freeze.

She opened her eyes and was shocked to see the window opened widely,and besides the power was off.

" Zara closed this window last night,,how did it open?" She got out of bed and walked toward the door

She closed the window gently as the cold midnight breeze hit her

" Damn,,it's so cold"

After closing it up,she turned back toward her bed but then she hit her head on something. It wasn't hard,

"What's happening to me?" She touched her head

But then the last moment she looked up,a red eyes like a flaming fire opened and she let out a scream

" Ahh!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed and fell on her butt

She rushed toward the lamp and put it on,,she covered her mouth with her palms in fear as she watched the inhuman in front of her. What should he be called? A monster??

He have very long and sharp fangs,she couldn't find neither his shadow nor his mirror reflection

' Is he a ghost?' She wondered almost panting hard

He moved closer to her

" Please don't move closer,,please"

The inhuman removed the hood from his head and she gasped seeing his face,,,even though his eyes were still red,he was looking so perfect and odd at the same time.
And then it reflected perfectly to her,,she have read a lot of books.

' It's a vampire ' She said inwardly as her eyes caught with his canine tooth

" Please don't hurt me,,please" She pleaded in tears

And then he stopped walking toward her which took her by surprise,his red eyes became grey,his fangs disappeared and he was looking like a human.

He turned his back on her and she watched as he left the room through the wall,,she breathe out and passed out almost immediately.

NEXT MORNING ✍️

As Zara helped Evelyn the next morning,she noticed her unusual quietness which made her worried,she was also looking so pale,she decided to bring on a conversation.

" My princess,guess what was reported to the king this morning,I think your novel fantasies are coming to pass " Zara smiled and Evelyn looked up

" What?"

" Two Town guards came to the king this morning with a report of about ten people found dead in their different houses" Zara said

" What? What happened to them??" She immediately asked

" I couldn't really understand what was going on,,but according to what I heard,their blood was sucked dry by an animal,obviously a vampire " Zara explained

Evelyn stood up and fell back on the couch again

" A,,a,,,vampire??"
