The Executive Chairman Lere Local Government Council, Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, ably represented by the Special Assistant on General Duties, Hon. Tasiu Bako (Garkuwan Saminaka), at a political engagement held in Kadiri Garu Ward, Lere Local Government Area.

The event, humbled by Hon. Isah Lawal, Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, witnessed the formal reception of new members drawn from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), and other political parties into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The gathering attracted political stakeholders, community leaders, party officials and supporters, providing a platform for constructive engagement and political interaction at the grassroots level.

Representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Tasiu Bako welcomed the new members and conveyed the goodwill of Hon. Jafaru Ahmed and emphasized the importance of unity, mutual respect, peaceful political participation and collective responsibility in advancing the interests of the people of Lere Local Government.

The Executive Chairman remains committed to strengthening grassroots engagement and maintain an open and inclusive political environment where citizens can participate meaningfully in democratic processes.

The occasion further underscored the growing level of political engagement and realignment among stakeholders within Kadiri Garu Ward and Lere Local Government Area, ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

FINANCE AND GENERAL PURPOSE COMMITTEE (F&GPC).

Today, I had the honor of presiding over the Management Meeting of Lere Local Government as the Executive Chairman.

The session provided an important platform to review our achievements, evaluate ongoing projects, and align our priorities for the months ahead. I commended the dedication and teamwork of all Heads of Departments, Supervisory Councilors who continue to work tirelessly in serving our people.

We reaffirmed our commitment to transparency, accountability, and delivering impactful development across all sectors of the Local Government. Together, we will continue to build a Lere that works for everyone.

Let us remain focused, united, and committed to the vision of progress for our beloved Lere LGA.

THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, LERE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL, HON. JAFARU AHMED SUPPORTS LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LERE WARD JURAWA COMMUNITY BRIGADE.

In his continued commitment to improve grassroots infrastructure and promote the welfare of communities across Lere Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Lere Local Government Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, has approved a financial support of ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira) to the people of Jurawa Community.

The financial intervention is specifically earmarked for the immediate reconstruction of the Jurawa Community Bridge, a vital link that facilitates the movement of residents, farmers, traders, and other members of the community.

The intervention is aimed at restoring safe, accessible, and convenient transportation while addressing an important infrastructural need within the community.

This gesture reflects the Chairman’s commitment to grassroots development, responsive governance, timely intervention, and the provision of infrastructure that directly impacts the lives and livelihoods of the people of Lere Local Government Area.

The Executive Chairman Lere Local Government Council, Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, this evening received in audience the leadership of Unguwan Makama Youth, led by Alhaji Aliyu Zobiya, on a courtesy and political visit.

The visit provided an opportunity for constructive engagement and discussions on issues concerning community development, youth participation, peace, unity, and the political direction of the community ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

During the visit, the Unguwan Makama Youth leadership reaffirmed, as stated by the delegation, their total support for Senator Uba Sani CON, Hon. Jafaru Ahmed, Dr. Muktar Ramalan Yero, Hon. Ahmed Munir, Hon. Munira Suleiman Tanimu, and Hon. Mubarak Ibrahim in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections.

Hon. Jafaru Ahmed appreciated the delegation for the courtesy visit and their engagement with the Council. He emphasized the importance of peaceful political participation, unity, responsible youth leadership, and continued community engagement in strengthening democratic processes.
