EBOLA AND THE TRANSFORMATION AGENDA: The rapid response approach and prevention mechanism put in place by the Federal government has shown that the GEJ led government believes in the sanctity of human life. The intervention fund by the Jonathan government also shows that funds available to the government within the contours of the transformation agenda will be channeled towards safeguarding Nigerians.

Dr. Goodluck E. Jonathan is a man whose democratic credentials is very robust. He is the only politician on planet earth to have become a Deputy Governor who metamorphosed into a Governor and unexpectedly transfigured into a Vice President, from the stable of a Vice President he miracously became an Acting President and via overwhelming popular vote occupied the hallowed seat of President and Commander in Chief. He is the first democratically elected Nigerian to transmutate from the appellation of GCON to GCFR. As President of Nigeria, he promised a free, fair and credible elections in 2011 and despite being a candidate achieved it. He has built 120 Almajiri schools in Northern Nigeria, established more Universities in the 6 geo-political zones of the Country including Police and Marine tertiary Institutions. Via the apparatus of YOU-WIN and SURE-P graduate Internship scheme, the GEJ government is carrying the youths along, e.t.c . Often times, critics of the GEJ administration tend to attack him from the perspective of his person, his desire not to manipulate the system and his seeming calm nature. However, this critics have failed to realize that a virile democracy is feasible only when democratic institution's are strengthened and not human beings. A robust democracy is that which places reciprocal respect for Systems and not individuals. So far, the GEJ government is working assidiously to make our democracy compete with those in other climes, we are not there yet but with support for a man who understands the fundamental tenets of democracy, the rule of law and constitutionalism we are sure to get to el-dorado. Let's support the government of Goodluck Jonathan. Democracy is all about collectivism.
