APA Legacy Sustainability Initiative Scholarship Programme 2024 on My Life and Academic Pursuit as an Undergraduate — My Story of Gratitude

My name is Ede David Adadu a proud son of Ado Local Government Area and a 200-level student of Medicine and Surgery at Benue State University, Makurdi.

Sometimes, all a young person needs is a sign that their hard work is seen — that their dreams truly matter.

Through the APA Legacy Sustainability Initiative Scholarship championed by Hon. David Olofu, I was privileged to receive a ₦100,000 scholarship award — part of the ₦10 million fund dedicated to supporting Zone C students.

This support came at a time when I needed it most. It helped me pay for my lecture materials, secure accommodation, and take care of my daily provisions — things that might seem small, but which mean the world to a student determined to stay focused and excel.

Beyond the financial assistance, this scholarship gave me renewed motivation and hope. It reminded me that my efforts are not in vain, and that there are leaders who genuinely believe in the dreams and potential of young people.

I am deeply grateful to Hon. David Olofu for his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and educational development. Sir, your generosity and vision are shaping lives and creating opportunities for a brighter future.

Thank you for showing us that true leadership is service.
Together, we will keep making Zone C greater!

IDOMA LAWYERS HONOUR SANDRA OCHANYA WITH ₦5M & FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP FOR LAW SCHOOL FEAT

The Association of Idoma Lawyers (AIL) has celebrated a remarkable young achiever, Sandra Ochanya Owoicho, with a ₦5 million cash gift and a fully funded foreign scholarship, in recognition of her outstanding First-Class performance at the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus.

The honour was announced during the weekend at a grand reception in Otukpo, held to celebrate four distinguished Idoma lawyers, Barr. Audu Augustine E., Barr. David Ogenyi Ogebe, Barr. Eddie Inegede, and Barr. Godwin Sunday Ogboji, on their recent elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
