DR. IYORWUESE WILLIAMS LIGOM SEEKS TO UNITE THE TIV NATION IN PRAYER!
Dr. Iyorwuese Williams Ligom, a renowned Orthopaedic, Minister of the Gospel and Politician has over the years continually sought for new ways to reposition Tiv land and Nigeria on the path of unprecedented growth and development.
His efforts have been clearly seen in his active involvement in the establishment of educational and medical institutions amongst others to provide for the basic public needs of the people of Tiv land, Nigeria and beyond.
In his quest to sustain his devotion to impacting his society and contributing to the revolution many look forward to see in Benue state and Nigeria, Dr. Iyorwuese W. Ligom has chosen to play host to Tiv Sons and Daughters across the globe at the 11th Annual Prayer Summit of His establishment, Back to Gilgal Revival Foundation now "GILGAL MOUNTAIN 2017" which is scheduled to take place at Abande (Kwande L.G.A of Benue State) from the 16th - 19th November, 2017.
The Convention is aimed at interceding on behalf of Tiv nation and Nigeria to the Almighty God. All present at the summit will in unison bring the challenges of the Tiv race and Nigeria to God in Prayer as Dr. Ligom remains hopeful, that the wrong doings of the people of the Tiv race and Nigeria will be forgiven and they would be anointed towards Prosperity and dominion.
HOW DID "BACK TO GILGAL REVIVAL FOUNDATION COME ABOUT?"
In 1988, When Dr. Iyorwuese Williams Ligom was undergoing his National Youth Service as a corp member in Borno state, Nigeria. God gave him a vision to establish a Mission at Abande in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State (near the Cameroon border). He gave a resoundingly positive response to this revelation. "YES LORD".
He shared the vision with a few brethren with a view to getting their views and moved to make an effort in the vision's actualisation as he continued to be stirred by the spirit.
In 1993, exactly five (5) years after he had received the vision from God, he visited Abande (site of the mission) to assess the environment and begin preparations to kick start the mission and propagate the Gospel to various categories of people in English and local languages.
Shortly after this, God led Dr. Iyorwuese W. Ligom to establish a clinic " Penuel Orthopaedic Hospital" which provided outstanding medical services in areas of strangulated hernia and obstructed labour amongst other ailments that brought relief to the people of Benue, Nigeria and the Cameroon's.
Dr. Iyorwuese W. Ligom and his clinic experienced overwhelming acceptability in Nigeria and beyond attracting huge patient traffic to the facility annually. The clinic hence became a major source of funding for the activities of the Mission at Abande.
While this was going on, a challenge of ineffective sharing of the Gospel with patients who came from Cameroon emerged. This is particularly because they spoke about eight (8) different languages and had no Bible translations in any of the languages making it difficult to comprehensively communicate.
In a bid to attend to this Challenge, Dr. Iyorwuese W. Ligom led the establishment of the "Full Gospel College Abande" in 1996 to provide formal education and training for children from all tribes to enable them take back the Gospel of Christ back to their communities.
As a believer in the huge prospects of the Tiv race, Dr. Ligom believes that the 11th edition of the Annual Prayer Summit holding soon at Abande, is an opportunity that all Sons and Daughters of Tiv nation should take advantage of to unite in liberating the Tiv nation and her people.
It is also an avenue for other well meaning Patriots of Tiv extraction to begin to contribute their quota in repositioning the Tiv race for the Future she deserves.
