A TRIBUTE TO HON. AMINU YAKUBU LADAN, A LEGACY OF SERVICE, COURAGE AND LASTING IMPACT IN CHANCHAGA:

On this day, we honour and celebrate Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan, the former Council Chairman of Chanchaga local government, a leader whose service, sacrifices, and commitment to the people remain unforgettable.

Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan served with vision, courage, and an uncommon sense of responsibility. During his tenure, he stood firmly against insecurity, confronting challenges head on and prioritising the safety of lives and property across Chanchaga. He understood that no development is possible without peace, and he worked tirelessly to ensure stability within the council.

His leadership was deeply people-centred. He consistently championed women empowerment, creating avenues for women to be economically active, socially relevant, and confidently involved in community development. He believed that when women are empowered, families and communities grow stronger.

Hon. Aminu Ladan also showed compassion for the less privileged. He supported indigent families in Chanchaga LGA by assisting with tuition fees, ensuring that children from vulnerable backgrounds were not denied access to education. This act alone changed many destinies and restored hope to numerous households.

In terms of infrastructure and development, his record speaks loudly. He facilitated the rehabilitation of many dilapidated boreholes. His focus was always on lasting impact, not temporary praise.

The youths were not left out. Hon. Aminu Ladan believed strongly in the power of young people and continuously supported youth initiatives, guidance, and engagement. He mentored, encouraged, and stood by them, understanding that they are the backbone and future of Chanchaga.

So many interventions, and so many lives touched, some too many to count. Today, we remember all that he did, the values he stood for, and the legacy he left behind.

Chanchaga remembers.
The people remember.
History will remember.

Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan’s contributions remain a reference point for purposeful leadership and selfless service.
