FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO ATTENDS APC NORTH CENTRAL CONGRESS AS PRESIDENT TINUBU IS ENDORSED AS PARTY'S SOLE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE .
Niger State governor,farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among eminent personalities that attended the party's North Central Congress held at the Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume at the event moved a motion for adoption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the sole candidate for APC at the 2027 presidential election.
The move was seconded by the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule.
The SGF in his remarks said Nigeria is moving towards another cycle of election and remains optimistic that with the calibre of people in the North central,the Region will provide the highest number of votes for President Tinubu to continue with his renewed hope agenda.
He acknowledged that APC governors have been performing exceptionally well and admitted that the North central zone is an integral part of the Country that has contributed significantly to the growth of the Nation.
APC National Chairman,Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda represented by the APC deputy national secretary, Prof. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana who congratulated the inaugurated zonal officials of the APC called on them to be true ambassadors and represent the true ideals of the party.
He described the North Central as a strategic zone for the APC adding that, the region's loyalty to the renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu has been the bedrock of the administration's stability.
National Vice Chairman, APC North Central, Mu'azu Bawa Rijau, in his remaeks appreciated the confidence reposed in him and reassured that he will continue to serve with dedication,loyalty and commitment for the overall progress of the APC.
The North Central Congress of the APC had delegates that imclude for the Zonal Chairman, all Past Zonal Chairmen of the Party, all Zonal Executive Officers, serving and past State Governors from the zone who are of the Party, and serving and former Members of the National Assembly (Senate and House of Reps) who are APC Members.
Other statutory delegates to the Zonal Congress include serving and Past Principal Officers of the State House of Assembly from the zone who are members of the Party, State Party Chairmen from the Zone, all members of the National Executive Committee from the zone,all National Caucus members from the zone, and other statutory delegates to the National Convention.

APC NATIONAL CONVENTION: FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO CHAIRS THE INAUGURAL MEETING OF THE DIGITAL AND NEW MEDIA COMMITTEE.
Niger State Governor and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC Digital and New Media Committee ahead of the National Convention of the party, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has held an inaugural meeting with the committee members.
The inaugural meeting was held at the Niger State liaison Office, Abuja.
He congratulated the members, describing their selections as deliberate based on their proven capacities.
The farmer governor reminded the committee members of the task ahead of them and the need to be outstanding in the discharge of their duties.
He assured the committee members that all logistics needed to ensure a successful ex*****on of their assignment will be provided.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, who is also the Co-Chairman of the Digital and New Media Committee, Benjamin Kalu, also emphasised the need for members of the committee to be hardworking and committed to ensure positive narratives about the National Convention and the party using all digital platforms.
The Secretary of the Digital and New Media Committee, O'tega Ogra, said the goal of the committee is to communicate effectively to the majority of Nigerians and the globe on the positive impact of the APC on the people as well as to project the objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's renewed hope agenda.
He said the committee has a target to reach 100 million Nigerians and 400 million people across the world, expressing belief that the committee will achieve its mandate through the use of digital tools, monitoring mechanisms, and unprecedented approaches.

FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO MEETS WITH DG BUREAU FOR PUBLIC ENTERPRISES TO STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP
Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has met with the Director-General, Bureau for Public Enterprises, Ayodeji Ariyo Gbeleyi at his Office in Abuja for sustained partnership with his administration.
The visit is aimed at solidifying the relationship between both parties and seeking ways of improving the State especially through public private partnerships.
Farmer governor Bago who expressed satisfaction and capabilities of the DG in meeting with the set objectives of the Organisation reiterated Niger State government's readiness to tap in from its expertise in moving the State forward.
The Director-General, Bureau for Public Enterprises, Ayodeji Ariyo Gbeleyi appreciated the farmer governor for the visit and his vision in moving Niger State to another level while also reaffirming that the BPE will play its part in offering pieces advice and recommendations to the State where necessary.
The Bureau for Public Enterprises BPE is the technical arm of the National council on privatisation established by the public enterprise and commercialisation Act 1999 to implement Nigeria's policy on privatisation and commercialisation.

FARMER GOVERNOR BAGO EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO FORMER COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH, ALH. DATIJO ALIYU.
Niger State Governor farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago sympathises with one-time Commissioner for Health, Alh. Datijo Aliyu, over the death of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Aishatu Mahmud Evuti.
The farmer governor,in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, expresses his heartfelt condolences to the former commissioner.
He encourages Alh. Aliyu to accept the demise of his mother-in-law as an act of Allah, who gives and takes life and has also made death inevitable for all mortals.
The farmer governor says the former commissioner and the grieving family should be inspired by the good life the deceased lived and pray that Allah will reward her soul with Aljanna Firdausi.
He also prays that Allah will comfort all who are affected by the death of Hajiya Aishatu Mahmud Evuti.

Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago celebrates the General Manager of Radio Niger, Kolos Mohammed, on his 56th birthday.
In a birthday message through the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer governor describes the celebrant as committed and hardworking personality .
He commends his efforts in repositioning the State Radio station in terms of effective and efficient service delivery.
The farmer governor joins the family and well-wishers of the celebrant in wishing him Allah's continuous blessings, mercy, and favour.

FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO JOINS EMIR OF KAGARA IN A MINI DURBAR PROCESSION AMIDST MAMMOTH CROWD.
A mini Durbar has been organised by the Kagara Emirate Council to mark the successful end of this year's Ramadan fast and to show solidarity to farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.
The Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Garba Gunna Attahiru II, and his traditional title holders mounted their horses to lead a colourful procession on the major road of the town.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, who was obviously elated by the show of love and admiration by the massive turnout of residents, joined the procession.
Various cultural displays also added colour to the brief event, which has hitherto been suspended due to heightened activities of terrorists in the Emirate.
The 2026 mini Durbar in Kagara Emirate which showcased horsemanship, speaks volumes of the relative peace that has been achieved in the Emirate.
Some residents of Kagara expressed their joy and appreciation to the farmer governor for his tireless efforts aimed at protecting lives and property and prayed for sustained peace in not only the emirate but also the state and the country as a whole.

FARMER GOVERNOR BAGO CAUTIONS POLITICIANS IN KAGARA NOT TO COMPROMISE THE RELATIVE PEACE IN THE EMIRATE.
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has cautioned politicians in Kagara not to compromise the relative peace that has been achieved in the Emirate.
The farmer governor stated this when he paid Sallah homage on the Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Garba Gunna Attahiru II, at his palace.
He said it is important that the people play politics without violence, as leadership lies with Allah, and He gives to whom He chooses.
The farmer governor noted that the security agencies and the Emirate Council have done well in curtailing the activities of informants and terrorists in the Emirate and that his administration will not allow politics of bitterness to destroy the progress recorded.
He used the forum to reassure the people that work will soon continue on the 10 km and 5 km road projects and that the fencing of the Kagara general hospital will also be done in no distant time.
The farmer governor revealed that a new Government Science College Kagara will be constructed, as the military is currently occupying the school as their base, which he said will be reconstructed for them, adding that a mini airport will also be constructed around there to ease movement and tighten the security of the Emirate.
He called on farmers not to relent in farming in the next farming season, as his government has made plans to provide farming implements and input at a discounted price to ensure a bumper harvest.
The farmer governor appreciated the Emir for always supporting his administration with wise counsel and assured him that the Emirate will continue to benefit from the programmes and policies of his administration.
He charged the people of the Emirate to continue to be patient with each other and support leaders and security agencies to sustain the relative peace being experienced in the Emirate.
The Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Garba Gunna Attahiru II, appreciated the farmer governor for the visit and acknowledged his remarkable efforts in stemming the tide of insecurity in the Emirate, which has led to the restoration of the traditional horse riding festival during Sallah celebrations and that farmers have returned to farms and improved socioeconomic activities.
He assured the farmer governor of his Emirate continuous support to ensure his success and also prays for a sustained peace in the Emirate, the state and the country at large.
Member representing Rafi/Shiroro/Munya federal Constituency, Ismail Musa Modibbo and the Chairman of Rafi Local Government council, Alh. Usman Ayuba Katako in their separate remarks commended the farmer governor for his tremendous efforts in the areas of security, road infrastructure,and healthcare among others for Kagara Emirate and across the state.
They reassured him of their continuous support for his vision of transforming the state for the overall good of the people.
