OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Following a meeting with His Excellency, Farmer Governor, Umar Mohammed Bago, I wish to inform the good people of Kontagora I Constituency that the Governor passionately appealed to me to step down from my bid for re-election.

After careful reflection and consultations, and considering the peace, unity, and progress of our party and constituency, I have decided to honour and respect his request.

This decision is not out of weakness, fear or lack of capacity, but out of political maturity, loyalty, respect for leadership, and commitment to the unity of our great party.

I sincerely thank all my supporters, party elders, stakeholders, youths, women, and everyone who stood with us throughout this journey. I urge all our supporters to remain calm, peaceful, united, and committed to the progress of our constituency and party.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, our political journey continues and the future remains bright.

Kontagora showed up strong today.

As I joined other leaders and stakeholders in Kontagora Local Government for the endorsement of our performing Governor, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago, Distinguished Senator Abubakar Sani Bello (Lolo), and Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba (Mai Sola), and you could feel the confidence people have in the work being done.

No long talk, the message was clear. We know where we’re going.

Today, I picked up my Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.

It’s another step in the journey we started together. I’m encouraged by the support and ready to keep working for 1.

We move forward, together.

After my declaration on Monday, I took time to sit with some of the beneficiaries of our February 16 empowerment program, i am truly happy and encouraged by what I heard. Alhamdulillah

Many have started businesses, others have expanded, and lives are clearly changing for the better. This is exactly why I committed over ₦72 million to empower 716 constituents, so my people can grow, succeed, and live better.

Putting 1 first by delivering real results is my vision. And In Sha Allah, we will continue to do more.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON MY DECLARATION CEREMONY

I sincerely thank the good people of Kontagora 1 for the massive turnout and overwhelming support shown during my Declaration Ceremony.

The event commenced at the Magajiya Ward APC Party Office and moved in a strong and united procession to the Kontagora LGA Party Office, where I formally declared my intention to seek re-election to the Niger State House of Assembly.

The large number of supporters, leaders, and stakeholders present is a clear reflection of our shared belief in the progress we have made and the future we are building together.

This moment is not just about a declaration, but a renewed commitment to continue serving with dedication, delivering impact, and advancing the development of Kontagora 1.
