The Special Adviser to the Niger State Governor, Honorable Hauwa Bako Mohammed , visited Mokwa Local Government, joining the Niger State CCT Head of Operations and Program Manager, Mallam Sulaimon, to oversee the disbursement process of direct financial support to 780 vulnerable households. This initiative is part of the Federal Government's Renewed Hope Economic Shocks Response, aimed at cushioning the effects of current economic pressures.
This effort was made possible through the collaborative support of Mint Finex (619 beneficiaries) and TagPay (161 beneficiaries). We believe this will help communities and households affected by disasters and economic hardship.
Furthermore, this initiative is part of a broader effort to reach over 180,000 households across Niger State. It is implemented through the National Social Safety-nets Project - Scale Up (NASSP-SU) and the Household Prosperity and Empowerment Programme.
