GOVERNOR BAGO FLAGS OFF AIRLIFT OF NIGER STATE PILGRIMS FOR 2026 HAJJ
His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has flagged off the airlift of Niger State intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise, as the first batch of 345 pilgrims departed for Saudi Arabia through the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna.
The pilgrims, from Chanchaga and Borgu LGAs, were advised by the Governor to be worthy ambassadors of Niger State, obey the laws of Saudi Arabia, safeguard their belongings, and pray for peace and development in the state and the country.
The successful commencement of the airlift further reflects the Governorâs commitment to improving critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations at the stateâs international airport.
The Amirul Hajj and Emir of Agaie, Alh. Yusuf Nuhu, described the Hajj preparations as satisfactory and wished the pilgrims a successful exercise.
