Earlier, at Michael Okpara Square, I joined my Principal, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, as over 30,000 teachers in Enugu State gathered to endorse His Excellency, Bola Ahmed inubu,, and our dear Governor for a term inin then the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement reflects the confidence of our teachers in the administration’s commitment to improving teachers’ welfare, strengthening the education sector, providing modern learning facilities and creating better opportunities for our children.
Under Governor Mbah’s leadership, education has received remarkable attention, with investments in Smart Green Schools, teacher recruitment, staff training, timely promotions and other initiatives aimed at transforming the education sector in Enugu State.
As a government that recognises education as the foundation of sustainable development, we appreciate the sacrifices of our teachers and acknowledge their indispensable role in building a better future for our children and communities.
I commend our teachers in Igbo-Eze South for joining their colleagues across the state to demonstrate their support for this vision. Their commitment reinforces our collective resolve to sustain the progress being recorded in education and other critical sectors.
Together, let us continue to support purposeful leadership, people-oriented policies and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
