United APC Registered Support Group Resumes Market-to-Market Campaign for AMBO in Ile-Ife

Following the Sallah holiday celebrations, the United APC Registered Support Group has resumed its grassroots mobilization efforts in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.

As part of its ongoing market-to-market campaign, the group visited Ajifowobaje Market in Ilode, Ile-Ife, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, where members of the group engaged traders and residents on the need to support and vote for the APC candidate.

Leading the delegation was the Director General of the group, Alhaja Risikat Lawal Alawe, a renowned grassroots mobilizer and member of the APC Governorship Campaign Council. She highlighted AMBO's Prosperity Agenda, describing it as a comprehensive blueprint for economic growth, empowerment, and sustainable development in Osun State. She assured market men and women that an AMBO-led administration will prioritize traders' welfare through empowerment initiatives and policies aimed at economic stabilization.

Earlier in her own address, the Iyaloja of the Ajifowobaje Market, Chief Mrs. Alaba Kayode, commended the United APC Registered Support Group for its dedication and consistency in taking the message of progressive governance to the grassroots. *Condolence Message to our Father & Mentor, the State Party Chairman, Alh Tajudeen Sooko*

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return.

It is with immense sorrow, broken hearts, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah that we received the devastating news of the passing of your beloved wife, our mother, this evening.

Sir, the death of a wife is not just the loss of a spouse. It is the fall of a pillar, the silence of a confidant, the end of a companionship that carried you through trials and triumphs. We cannot begin to imagine the depth of this pain, because Mama was the quiet strength behind your public service, the peace in your home, and the comfort that allowed you to lead us with such focus and courage.

We bear witness that she lived a life of dignity, faith, and sacrifice. As the wife of a political leader, she bore burdens many never saw - the late nights, the absence during critical family moments, the pressure of public life. Yet she did so with grace, patience, and unwavering support for you and the cause you represent. She mothered not only your children but extended that warmth to party members, visitors, and the less privileged who crossed her path.

Her departure has created a vacuum that words cannot fill and tears cannot wash away. The home is darker, the seat beside you is empty, and the party has lost a rare gem. But we take solace in the fact that she lived well, loved deeply, and served humanity with a pure heart.

Our Dear Chairman, in this darkest hour, please lean on Allah. He alone can heal what is broken and comfort what is grieving. We pray that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, illuminates her grave, and admits her into Aljannatul Firdaus without reckoning.

May He also grant you, your children, the entire family, and all of us who loved her, the _Sabr Jameel_ - beautiful patience - to bear this colossal loss. May He replace what you have lost with something better, and may He preserve you in good health to continue the good work you both believed in.
