In my Number One bestselling book, Facts Versus Fiction: The True Story of the Jonathan Years: Chibok, 2015 and the Conspiracies, I said that the Chibok abduction actually happened, but that it was knowingly allowed to happen by forces within the All Progressives Congress, as part of moves to de-market the Goodluck Jonathan administration, and that Obiageli Oby Ezekwesili’s was a willing tool for the de-marketing of former President Jonathan. Unfolding events are now vindicating me.

I am under no illusion that former President Jonathan was a saint. He had his flaws, one of which was allowing persons like Chief E K Clark and others speak for him, almost as his alter ego, without calling them to order. But on a scale with his predecessors and successor, I cannot find any Nigerian President or Head of State who meant as well for Nigeria and Nigerians, as he did, and who took action towards making life better for the people.

Dr. Jonathan did not deserve what Muhammadu Buhari, Nasir El-Rufai, and Oby Ezekwesili conspired to do to him. And all of them will reap what they sowed, in this lifetime, and in the one to come.

Chief Onuora Nzekwu, was a renowned writer and veteran broadcaster. Hailed from Onitsha in Anambra state. In May 1966, he wrote a popular novel, EZE GOES TO SCHOOL, that shot him to fame. He died on this day 2017, aged 89.

This is Dr. Samuel Achilefu, Nigerian Radiologist who invented high-tech infrared goggles which enable surgeons to see cancer cells during surgery.

The goggles ensure that no stray tumor cells, which glow blue when viewed through the eyewear, are left behind.
He holds joint appointments as a professor of Medicine, Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics, and Biomedical Engineering. He currently serves as the Director of the Washington University Molecular Imaging Center and the privately funded Theranostic Innovation Program.

When Ahmadu Bello tried to implement his Northernization Policy, this gallant young Igbo lad struck. Many do not know but Ahmadu Bello’s Northernization Policy was not just for the North but for the entire Nigeria. The Northernization Policy was the political term for Bello’s statement in 1957:

True to his words, when Nigeria got it’s independence from Britain in 1960s and Bello’s puppet Tafawa Balewa was rigged into office by the Brits before the left as the Prime Minister of Nigeria the Northernization agenda started. Balewa was Prime Minister so he had control of the Federal Armed Forces including the police. Had it not been for this young, brave, intelligent, and gallant Igbo man going to the North and grabbing the bull by the horn Igboland could have been looking like Borno or Ilorin right now. IPOB, MASSOB Members to be granted asylum by the U.K

The UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) has released new guidelines to its decision makers on how to consider and grant asylum applications by members of Biafran secessionist groups, TheCable is reporting.

Asylum is to be granted to “persecuted” members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which has been designated as a terrorist organisation by the Nigerian government, and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB)

In the just-released ‘Country Policy and Information Note Nigeria: Biafran secessionist groups’ seen by TheCable, the UKVI, a division of the Home Office, directed its decision makers to consider if a person “who actively and openly supports IPOB is likely to be at risk of arrest and detention, and ill-treatment which is likely to amount to persecution.”

According to the guidelines, the decision makers “must also consider if the [Nigerian] government’s actions are acts of prosecution, not persecution. Those fleeing prosecution or punishment for a criminal offence are not normally refugees. Prosecution may, however, amount to persecution if it involves victimisation in its application by the authorities.”

This is Attama Nwamba's House built in 1907. Attama is said to be the person that brought the Catholic Church to Nsukka.

He married more than 100 wives, including the daughter of Onyeama na Eke. Attama Nwamba was the only warrant chief that appointed a female warrant chief in Enugu-Ezike, known as Ahabe Ugbabe.

It is a very common misconception that only Igbos fell victim to the pogrom of 1966: whilst they were in the great majority, non-Igbo Easterners, Midwesterners and Westerners, military and civilian, were also victims of the barbarity.
