My advice to government of my country at all levels on palliative.
First I have to thank the government at all levels for the measures put in place to cotail the fast spread of covid 19 in Nigeria. More of God's wisdom for our leaders at various levels.
I also need to appreciate all the health workers, security agencies and all who are saddle with responsibility to ensure that citizen are not wiped away by the pandemic'. To you I say 🙏.
I observed in my area with kin interest the way palliative are being distributed into communities, indeed government tried. But upon reaching the community, there is no fairness in sharing. People who really needs this do not get it or get in a very ridiculous quantity. Some were being considered non- indigen as such been sideline. I also gathered that some palliative are share at mid night among few people. What a greedy mind! In view of the above I want the government at all levels to consider another method that Will make this to reach the downtrodden. Government should creates markets where this palliative material (foodstuffs) can be sold at a very subsidized price (no longer free foods) and be accessible to all classes of people. As I speak, 50kg of rice is sold between #29-30k. How on earth can a common man especially low income earner afford this price? By this government can regulates prices of food items and possibly generates incomes.
God bless Nigeria.
