*Sango Ward Rallies Behind Engr. Tunji Akinosi, FNSE , Backs Second Term Bid with Massive Endorsement*

In a powerful demonstration of unity, confidence, and grassroots support, political leaders, stakeholders, and party faithful from Sango Ward today gathered to formally endorse the Member representing Ado-Odo /Ota Federal Constituency, Engr. Tunji Akinosi for a second term in the House of Representatives.

The well-attended meeting brought together respected community leaders, party executives, youth representatives, and women, all of whom spoke with one voice in reaffirming their unwavering support for the “People’s Honourable.” The endorsement, they noted, is a reflection of his outstanding performance and visible achievements since assuming office.

Speakers at the gathering emphasized that Engr. Akinosi has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership, surpassing the records of his predecessors with impactful representation and people-oriented initiatives. They highlighted his deliberate focus on infrastructural development, improved access to quality education, and enhanced healthcare delivery across the constituency.

Recognizing the cosmopolitan nature of Ado-Odo /Ota Federal Constituency, stakeholders at the meeting acknowledged that meaningful development is a gradual process. However, they expressed satisfaction with the strategic steps already taken by Engr. Akinosi to lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth and long-term progress.

In a firm rejection of transactional politics, the leaders declared that their endorsement was based on merit, performance, and credibility—not inducement or monetary influence. They stressed that the era of vote-buying and superficial engagement must give way to accountability, competence, and genuine service to the people.

Consequently, leaders and members of Sango Ward unanimously endorsed Engr. Tunji Akinosi and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as their preferred candidates for a second term, expressing strong confidence in their capacity to consolidate on existing achievements and deliver even greater dividends of democracy to Nigerians, particularly the people of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.

During the meeting, party members also aligned with the party’s decision to adopt Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA, as the flag bearer for the gubernatorial ticket, pledging their full support and commitment to work tirelessly for the success of the APC in the 2027 general elections.

The event concluded with a renewed call for unity, sustained grassroots mobilization, and a collective resolve to secure a resounding victory at the polls.

Ogun Councillor, Joel Okeodebija Cancels 2026 Birthday Celebration to Honour Late Party Faithful

Sango Otta – Hon. Joel Okeodebija, the Councillor representing Sango Ward in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, has announced the cancellation of his 2026 birthday celebration as a mark of respect for the late Ajibabi Muyideen, a dedicated party coordinator and ally.

The annual community event, originally scheduled for March 26th, has been suspended to sympathise with the family and associates of the deceased.

Mr Ajibabi Muyideen served as the Coordinator of the APC e-membership registration in Sango Ward until his passing. He died on Sunday morning in what the councillor described as a shocking loss.

“With a heavy heart and deep sadness, I have humbly cancelled my 2026 birthday celebration to sympathise with the entire family and party faithful of my dear brother and committed ally, the late Ajibabi Muyideen,” Hon. Okeodebija stated.

The councillor extended prayers for the bereaved family and expressed gratitude to those who have shown support during the mourning period.

In a brief health advisory accompanying the announcement, he encouraged residents to adhere to basic health practices and engage in regular exercise.

*CONDOLENCE MESSAGE*

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I, Hon. Joel Okeodebija, Councilor representing Sango Ward, mourn the passing of one of our committed and loyal comrades, Comrade Muyideen Adetunji Ajibabi.

Comrade Ajibabi was a dedicated party member whose contributions, loyalty, and passion for the progress of our ward and community will never be forgotten. His sudden departure is a painful loss not only to his family but to the entire Sango Ward and Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

I sincerely commiserate with his immediate family, friends, and associates during this difficult time. I pray that the Almighty grants his family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. May God also raise helpers for his beloved wife and little children, and provide for them in ways beyond human understanding.

May the soul of Comrade Muyideen Olatunji Ajibabi rest in perfect peace.

In line with our administration’s commitment to attracting opportunities and driving development through Public–Private Partnerships (PPP), I paid a familiarization visit to the Chief Executive Director of Best Fibre Nigeria Limited, Engr. Kanan Alawam, alongside his production team at their factory in Dalemo, Sango-Ota.

The visit was aimed at fostering positive outcomes in youth employment, community development, and community promotion. This initiative also complements the recent road development projects executed by the company in collaboration with the Iloye ACDC, under the leadership of its Chairman, Rev. Samuel Olubodun.

Best Fibre Manufacturing Company is a community-friendly organization with a workforce running into hundreds and a production capacity of over 20,000 products per batch. As a responsive government, we pledged our continued support for initiatives that promote sustainable development and economic growth.

The visit was attended by prominent political and community representatives.
