Yesterday, Friday 23rd January 2026, the Entrepreneurship Skill Training Graduation Ceremony for People with Disabilities was successfully held β€” and it was truly an inspiring and unforgettable event!

The program showcased the strength, resilience, and determination of our members who successfully completed hands-on entrepreneurship training designed to equip them with practical skills for independence and economic growth.

We are especially grateful for the presence and support of:
🀝 The Chairman, Mr. Tolani Ojuri
πŸ’™ The Welfare Officer, Mr. Taiwo Cureton

Their encouragement and commitment to supporting our graduating members made the day even more meaningful.

To all our graduates β€” this is just the beginning! Your courage, hard work, and dedication are proof that disability does not mean inability. The future is bright, and we are so proud of you 🌟

Together, we continue to promote inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunities for all.

🌞 LASODA x Albinism Association of Nigeria (AAN)
MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR PERSONS WITH ALBINISM

On Thursday, 22nd January 2026, LASODA in collaboration with the Albinism Association of Nigeria successfully carried out a Medical Outreach focused on:

🩺 Early skin cancer detection
🧴 General skin evaluation
πŸ₯ Surgical review for Persons With Albinism

This outreach was targeted at supporting individuals in the early stages of skin cancer and those requiring urgent dermatological attention.

---

πŸ“Œ Program Highlights & Updates

πŸ”Ή Some patient tests were initially placed on hold because results must be valid within two weeks before surgery. Once surgery dates and venues are finalized, affected patients will be contacted for immediate testing.

πŸ”Ή Although clearance delays prevented earlier TV coverage, the outreach was still professionally documented, with interviews and recordings carried out during the program.

πŸ”Ή Patients referred to the Oncology Department will undergo another round of medical evaluation before treatment begins.

πŸ”Ή Engagement is ongoing with LASUTH Management to finalize arrangements for the use of the Ikeja and Gbagada annex facilities for continued care.

---

πŸ’› This outreach is part of our continuous commitment to protecting the skin health and lives of Persons With Albinism through early detection, treatment, and proper medical support.

We sincerely appreciate all medical personnel, volunteers, partners, and supporters who made this outreach a success.
