Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa Congratulates Abia Attorney General on Elevation to Senior Advocate of Nigeria

The Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Abia State, Barr. Ikechukwu Uwana, on his formal swearing-in as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Hon. Chinasa described the attainment of the prestigious rank of SAN as a landmark achievement and a testament to Barr. Uwana’s years of dedication, professional excellence, and outstanding service to the legal profession.

He further noted that this recognition not only brings honor to Barr. Uwana as an individual but also to Abia State, reinforcing the state’s reputation for producing exceptional leaders in various spheres of life.

Hon. Chinasa prayed for greater wisdom, strength, and success for the newly sworn-in SAN as he continues to serve the state and the nation with distinction.

Expectations mount high as residents and indigenes of Abia, south East Commercial capital prepares to receive the President of Nigeria, H.E. Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the much talked about New Abia.

The new Abia has become subjects of interesting political discussion and scale of social presentation and judgment between the old order of governance and the current situation that portrayed the state as just beginning from May 2023, then you wondered what has happened with previous administration over the past 24 years until 2023 that heralded the emergence of the Otti’s led Labour party government of Change and Hope alive.

It is not enough to hear interesting stories of enlivened hope and pride emanating from the New Abia under the purposeful leadership of Gov Alex Otti, all you need to do is visit and have a firsthand impression of what responsible governance entails, it is far from manipulated media editorials and social media content, a deviation from the common billboards fanfare of deception that was a common practice in the old Abia and among underperforming states where the governors are mere pawns of higher manipulative clandestine authorities against the collective interest and welfare of the citizenry.

Nevertheless, the oppositions has struggled relentlessly albeit in vain spreading false reports to discredit this good news emanating from Abia State and spreading across Nigeria and overseas, attracting dividends of quality investment in good governance and disciplined administration and that is what the President of Africa’s largest democracy, H.E. Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has come to prove.

To tell the whole world and the Nigerian people about the increasing importance of Abia State in the current political and economic dispensation under Gov Alex Otti, to show his love for a region he has chosen to align with its leadership irrespective of political party affiliations.

More so, the President, as scheduled is coming to see for himself and commission as many as 7 landmark infrastructure projects that once posed a herculean task for previous administration including the once dysfunctional environmental behemoth, the Aba-Port Harcourt Road, that completely cuts off the economic wheel of two prominent centers of commerce, industry and tourism, depriving both the city of Aba and oil rich Port Harcourt the dividends of quality leadership.

The current infrastructure situation in Abia under the guidance and astute leadership of Gov Alex Otti is not only inviting but appealing to the interest of investors both local and foreign, this is in line with President Tinubu Renewed Hope agenda of an all round development encompassing the 36 states of the federation.

Gov Otti has exemplified loyalty and adherence to the President clarion call for all state governors to join in his campaign to establish an all round development of the country.

More so, President Tinubu had in July during the 14th National Executive Committee meeting of the APC, held at the State House Conference Center in Abuja, emphasized that effective governance starts at the grassroots level improving infrastructure, security and the welfare of the citizenry, this is what Gov Otti has put in practice for the people of Abia state and in a show of solidarity to the President efforts in spreading overall development of the country.

It cuts across party affiliations but rather a display of sincere commitment to bring the anticipated dividends of a robust democracy.For this reason H.E. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is using this very important and highly anticipated visit to officially announce his approval, support and endorsement of the Gov Alex Otti transformative leadership and new Abia initiatives while the Gov lays the red carpet to receive the leader of the federation.

A total of 7 land mark infrastructure projects beginning from the ‘jinx broken’ Aba-Port Harcourt Road has been earmarked for commissioning including Ohanku road, Ajiwe Street, Umuatako Street, Aba, Gabriel Nwosu Street, Abayi, Chief Nkoro and SPURS all in Abayi, Aba, Ndoki road and Peoples Road, bringing entire length of road due for commissioning to a total of 18.82 Kilometers of quality asphalted road that has brought back life and revived the economic lifeline of the citizenry and visitors to Abia State.

The coming of the President of Nigeria at a time like this in South East Commercial hub sends a very strong signal, the President has chosen to identify with Governors genuinely committed to the fulfillment of their campaign promises to the people that has brought them to the exalted office of leadership and making his promise of all round development of the country easier.

This is the new Abia and H.E. Gov Alex Otti is laying the red carpet to welcome Nigeria’s number 1 to the land of the Renewed Hope in the South East region, there could be no other form of showing alliance and friendship to people of the south East other than this great encouragement to good governance coming from the Presidency to people of Abia State.

The Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Salome Obiukwu on her appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Abia State.

Hon. Chinasa described the appointment as a recognition of Dr Obiukwu’s competence, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service. He expressed confidence that her wealth of experience and innovative approach will bring renewed energy to the Ministry of Trade and Commerce and further advance the economic transformation agenda of His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, Executive Governor of Abia State.
