*Grassroot Democratic Alliance Initiative (GDAI) celebrates 4th anniversary of existence, reiterates commitment to enriching the grassroots/communities and lending her voice to the betterment of Abia State at large.*

Leading grassroots oriented organization, GDAI, has marked four years of revolutionizing the grassroots through various programs and activities. This unique day provides an opportunity for the organization to restate her vision of shaping the standards of living at the grassroots level through various capacity building programs and also presenting credible candidates for elective positions to the grassroot after proper scrutiny. This is because government is everybody's business and if we fail to be involved, we will be ruled by fools according to Plato.

As part of its 4th year anniversary celebration, the Organization will soon launch a campaign under the theme of “4 Years at the Grassroot”, which will entail several activities designed to reward her community of members and the entirety of the grassroots for their commitments and support through the past four years.

Within her first four years of existence in Abia State, GDAI has been at the forefront of grassroots development and quality representation of political office holders, serving as a pressure group in making sure the dividends of democracy is felt at the grassroots. We can so far boast of a presence in all 17 Local Government Areas in the state.

The Organization was conceived and birthed in 1st March, 2018 by the Coordinator Mr. Ifeanyi Chika Egwu and has now grown to be a significant player in the political structure of Abia State and furthermore the developmental milestones of the grassroots across the state. We are thrilled to celebrate 4 years of hard work, building bridges between the government and the people , and creating life-changing moments of excitement.

GDAI ENDORSES PDP CANDIDATE (Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike) FOR ABA NORTH/SOUTH RERUN

Recall that the honourable member representing the good people of Aba North & South Federal Constituency kicked the bucket sometime ago on seat. Late Hon. Ossy Prestige was a representative with the sole aim of making his impact felt amongst his constituency. No doubt he did so well in that position.

In line with INEC rules and regulations a bye election will be conducted for the replacement of any deceased sitting elected politician. This will be the case of Aba North & South Federal Constituency come Saturday, 27th March 2021.

As usual, The Grassroot Democratic Alliance Initiative (GDAI) being a non partisan political structure (organization) with the aim geared towards a proper scrutiny of candidates and selection of the most credible to be presented to her members and the electorates at large.

At this juncture, having gone through the antecedents and yearnings of the people of Aba North & South by way of random interviews and online polls, we unanimous present thus through a communique:
1. That the candidate presented by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) hails from the region in contention and therefore understands the needs and desires of the constituency (Aba)
2. That Hon. Ebisike is a goal getter. Having served meritoriously in different establishments with high level of focus, tenacity and ingenuity. There's no doubt that his acceptance level can't be compared to that of his other opponents.
3. That Hon. Ebisike is a man that can consolidate on his predecessor's outstanding representation for a better Aba North & South Federal Constituency.

We therefore unequivocally affirm that he is the right man for the job. A round peg in a round hole indeed.

On this note, we therefore encourage all eligible voters within the constituency to come out en mass and vote for Hon. Ebisike of PDP: a credible candidate to the core.
