The voice of the people is the voice of God....let the will of God prevail in Abia. Vote Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe to represent Umuahia Central Constituency for Innovation, Passion and Effective Representation!!!

THE RACE CONTINUES
The unscrupulous attempt by some people to hinder the political aspirations of Mr. Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe has failed and once again, the truth has triumphed.
On the 10th of November 2014, Mr. Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe went to collect his certificate of clearance at the Abia state PDP party secretariat for the screening exercise that was conducted for House of Assembly aspirants only to be given a duplicate copy of a clearance certificate that said that he wasn’t cleared. On further enquiry, he was told by an official at the party secretariat that he should accept it and go home, that wasn’t he aware that he was contesting with the Governor’s son for the same political position. Mr. Adighibe had to call the members of the panel that cleared him to find out why he was not cleared since no reason, credible or not, was stated on the duplicate copy that was given to him. To his amazement, he was told that he was cleared but that there was an attempt by some persons to disqualify him. He was then issued his original certificate which showed that indeed he was cleared by the panel. Below are copies of both the fake and original copies, an evidence of the intended foul play by some unscrupulous people which was thwarted by God.

The above words aptly describe my vision and mission for Umuahia Central Constituency.
The concerns of the people of Umuahia Central Constituency amongst other things include the fact that their interests are not being properly represented at the State House of Assembly. The expectations they have have not being met by the various representatives they have sent to do so and when you consider the peculiarities and potentials inherent in the area and people under Umuahia Central Constituency and the obvious neglect by past representatives, you will understand the people’s clamour for change.
To effect a positive transformational change, you need to understand what the real issues are and develop a strategy to deal them. You need to know what the people want; you need to be in tune with them. You cannot say you are representing a set of people when you do not have any idea what it is they want. You’d merely be representing your own interest which defeats the purpose of why you were sent there in the first place.
That change is here! I am the Change Agent for a massive transformation of Umuahia Central Constituency and I make bold to say so because:
1. I have an almost overwhelming natural desire to improve the lives of people around me. That desire has prompted me to embark on a lot of self-funded developmental/empowerment projects like the modeling and regrassing of the football field of the only secondary school in my area, Afara Technical Secondary School. Since then, the football pitch has proved very beneficial to the young football talents that we have in the community as opposed to when it was of no use to them due to neglect. I have also been able to help about 35 youths get gainfully employed, not to mention the ones I have helped to further their academic pursuits. I have also contributed as much as I can to the development of various women groups.
2. As I stated earlier, you cannot solve problems effectively without knowing the root cause of the problems. I have taken my time to understand what Umuahia Central constituency needs and I have developed a strategy to tackle the issues. I know what the real issues are and I know how to tackle the issues.
3. I am a man with a vision and I am passionate about my vision for Umuahia Central Constituency.
The Bible says “where there is no vision, the people perish” and that statement accurately describes the goings-on in the constituency prior to now. By the mercies of God, I have been raised as a present-day Joshua to take the people of Umuahia Central Constituency to where God wants us to be. I am a leader, not a politician. Politicians think of the next election, leaders think of the next generation.
4. I am a man of the people. I know the people and they know me. I understand the terrain, I can identify with the challenges that are currently facing the people of the constituency, having grown up in the area. I am open –minded, I am transparent and am very approachable.

In view of this, my vision and mission for Umuahia Central Constituency can be outlined as follows:
1. PASSION: it goes without saying that where there is a will, there is a way. My passion for improving the lives of the people will constantly make me seek ways to implement my plans for the people. One of such plans is my “SCHOOL-TO-FARM” project which is geared towards generating career and entrepreneurial opportunities in the agricultural sector for the youths of the constituency.
2. INNOVATION: according to Albert Einstein, “insanity can be defined as doing things the same way repeatedly and expecting different results. For the needed change to come, I will constantly go back to the drawing board so as to find new and better ways of doing the things that will birth the change we need, particularly in the area of education.
3. EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION: I have every intention of properly and effectively representing the people of Umuahia Central Constituency at the State House of Assembly by instituting proper communication channels and ensuring that these communication channels between I and the people I seek to represent are always open. It is almost impossible to accurately speak for someone if he does not tell you what he is thinking, hence the need for effective communication.
In addition, I intend to faithfully carry out my responsibilities to the people to the best of my abilities without bias or prejudice. That is my commitment to the people of Umuahia Central Constituency. God help me!
