Abia Mandate Grassroot Initiative For Dr. Alex Otti

ABIA STATE GOVT. PARTNERS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO CONSTRUCT ARIAM/USAKA IKWUANO/IKOT EKPENE ROAD.

Abia State Government is set to partner with the Federal Government to reconstruct the Ariam/Usaka Ikwuano-Ikot Ekpene Road. Governor Alex Otti, OFR, disclosed this on Sunday 14th July, during a church service at Christ Embassy along Library Avenue, Bank Road Umuahia.

While addressing the joyous congregation, Governor Otti said, “I want to reassure the pastor that we are doing something about the Ikot Ekpene-Ariama/Usaka all the way. Just like we are partnering with the Federal Government on the Airport Project which will be advertised very soon, we are also partnering with the Federal Government on the Ikwuano Road all the way to Akwa-Ibom and, I can assure you that very soon work will start there".

Governor Otti who in his usual way went to the church unannounced told the members of the church that he came just to worship and also thanked the church for their prayers and other supports in the journey of rebuilding Abia. The Governor said that his Government does not discriminate, saying that the body of Christ is one.

“So, this is an opportunity to thank you all for the support that you gave before the election, during the election and after the election. And, the body of Christ was united in saying enough is enough".

“So we don’t discriminate because the body of Christ is one. You may have your different churches that you attend. That’s why you will see me in the Catholic Church, Methodist Church, Anglican and today I’m in Christ Embassy".

Governor Otti said it was important to thank the Church and also very important to thank God because it is God who made all things possible. He cited a portion of the Bible (1 Cor. 2:6) that says “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase".

The Church Pastor, Pastor Chika Alex said that Abia State is a blessed State that was neglected and poorly Governed for a very long period by past leaders who chose to work for themselves instead of working for the people who would also work for them in return. He said that God brought Governor Otti to bring the State to the limelight.

“Abia State is a blessed State… that is why it’s called God’s own State. It is prophetic and I told them in this church that, that word will come to pass. And God is using you (Governor Otti) to fulfill that prophecy. Abia State has been neglected but God has ordained you to bring the State to limelight.

The man of God who said that God was preparing Governor Otti for a higher responsibility beyond Abia State, said under the Governor, people from Other regions of Nigeria are coming and will continue to come to invest in Abia, thereby reviving and strengthening the economy of the State, South East and beyond.

The Governor was joined in the worship by the Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Obioma, Member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency, Hon. Governor Alex Otti attends the grand civic reception of The Honourable Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, JSC by her friends in Owerri, Imo State.

The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti Joined Friends and Associates of The Honourable Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, JSC to celebrate her well deserved elevation to the Supreme Court - the Highest Court of the Land.

Dr. Otti extolled the virtues of Honourable Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, JSC, as an amazon and a shinning star on the bench. He applauded Honourable Justice Nwosu-Iheme for attaining the pinnacle of the legal profession. The occasion was graced by the Executive Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma as the Chief host, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Chinyere Ekomaru. Former Governors present were Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha and Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha. Elder Statesman, Retired General Ike Nwachukwu graced the occasion with other dignitaries.

Enyimba FC's Success and the Standard Governor Alex Otti Envisioned.

Enyimba FC of Aba’s Victory over Plateau United at the Enyimba Football Stadium Aba, on Sunday June 23rd, is a feat worthy of celebration.

The match which marked the end of the season, saw Enyimba secure a continental ticket; to the joy and excitement of the Government of Abia state, the Management of the Club, and of course, the dogged and passionate Enyimba fans.

Shortly after his appointment as the Chairman of the Club by Governor Alex Otti, Kanu Nwankwo (Papilo) told me about the challenges he met on ground and his long term vision for the club.

Papilo was emphatic that he would be using the first season to lay a solid foundation that would see the club operate the way football clubs operate in advanced leagues.

My understanding of Kanu's argument was not that Enyimba had not done well in the past in terms of trophies, but the obvious lack of profitable and sustainable intistitutional architecture, which was why the club couldn't boast of anything as its real assets as a football club.

There was no basis to doubt Kanu's revelation on assumption of office, because, when the Club under the former management needed money to go for the Super Six Tournament, they had to rely on money brought by Dr. Alex Otti who was then a Governor-elect to prosecute the tournament, because they didn't have money in theiŕ coffers. No well built and managed football club would have found itself in such a situation.

I did a post where I shared the discussion I had with Papillo, and the heavens were let loose, as all manner of persons who had different kinds of interests in the Club during the Old Abia era poured tantrums, and predicted that under Papilo, the Club would go on relegation at the end of the just concluded season, because according to them, he was a greenhorn, and had no right to complain.

Honestly, i didn't feel angry over those reactions from some persons, because that's the beauty of democracy. The government and Papilo obviously took those wishes of failure as a challenge and worked very hard to prove naysayers wrong.

In line with Governor Otti’s mandate that Enyimba should be completely reorganised and rejigged so that it wouldn't just be a football club which participates in league matches on a weekly basis, but a powerful football club and brand that would be natured through topnotch management and partnership with reputable brands, Papilo moved into action, and before one could say Jack, they struck two strategic sponsorship deals with two reputable brands; an Australian Crypto Company, Stake.Com, which also has a partnership with Everton FC of England and the New Zealand/Nigerian born Mixed Marshall Art (Kick boxer), Israel Adesanya.
The People's Elephant, as Enyimba is popularly called, also secured N100m Two-year Deal with United Nigeria Airline.

The management of the Club has also digitised all media platforms associated with Enyimba, ensuring that the Club's official website and other social media handles are up to date with information and activities of the club.

Governor Otti believes that football is a lucrative business, and that beyond the entertainment aspect of football, the economic aspect which is one of the most essential, must be explored to inspire youth development and empowerment, as well as economic development of the state.

The government of Abia state, management and staff of Enyimba, and all those who have played different roles to raise the operational standards and image of the club in all aspects in recent times must be commended for their roles in ensuring Enyimba's victory and qualification to play continental football.

The organisation and beautiful spectacles, which included the music and cultural displays at the stadium on Sunday, were pointers to the understanding of the management that, branding is a key factor in football business.

Without doubt, Aba is being recovered on all fronts, and we can only do better.

Joseph Goebbels Was Right - The Lies of Abia PDP Collapsed Under Their Own Weight on the 18th of March, 2023 and the Truth of the Labour Party under Dr. Alex Chioma Otti Triumphed: Uche Aguoru Battling With The Messenger To Cover The Message.

The first 240 words of Mr. Aguoru's history class essay was just about Joseph Goebbels while avoiding the import of the quote.

The day Joseph Goebbels was referring to in his famous quote has come and gone. The lies of the Abia PDP just like the lies of Adolf Hitler's N**i Party has come and gone and the truth triumphed. The former was collapsed under its own weight by Ballot Forces of Abia People mobilized and led by His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti while the later was collapsed under its own weight by the Allied Forces led by the United States of America.

Mr. Uche Aguoru in his social media ma********on accused Governor Alex Otti of intolerance to opposition without naming one person arrested and incarcerated by the Executive Governor in the last one year of the New Abia unlike the Abia PDP era when innocent Abians were threatened, harassed, victimised, arrested and incarcerated for criticising and holding the Government to account. The case of Bar. Emperor Ogbonna can be used as a point of contact to reach to other victims of State bullying, arrest and incarceration.

The onslaught and intolerance to opposition and critics did not spare the citadel of academics. The hammer of the Abia PDP intolerance to opposition and critics landed on the head of Mr. Princewill Chemezie Onwuka whose Law degree was withdrawn by the State Owned University acting on 'orders from above'. How about the intimidation and harassment of my friend and classmate, Hon. Ginger Onwusible, then candidate of the Labour Party for Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency. Hon. Ginger Onwusible was arrested and sometime abducted and taken to Abuja on trumped-up charges for 'Crossing the red sea from Egypt on his way to Canan'.

The difference between The New Abia and Egypt is that, the New Abia operates with facts and figures. The whole characters mentioned here are still living witnesses to their ordeal under the hands of our immediate past Pharaoh whose antecedents suggest he must have been related to the Roman Emperor Nero who was busy playing music while Rome (Abia) was burning!

Dr. Alex Chioma Otti must be a strong force with rare capacity to connive with the so called Abia PDP 'conspirators' to weaken and factionalise a ruling party and succeeded in dislodging them from power. The irony is that the so called Abia PDP 'conspirators' did not join Governor Alex Otti's ruling party after helping him dislodge their own party from power.

It is obvious that the remnants of the Abia PDP still weighing their options of which party to decamp to are yet to come to terms with the reality of their rejection and retirement by the people of Abia State. It is either a case of loss of memory, self denial or worse still dementia!

Why should Governor Alex Otti be afraid of a Party and characters he beat black and blue? A party and characters he mobilized Abians to dislodge from the seat of power as a private citizen?
A party and characters he cut their ravenous and insatiable grip on the ni***es of the breast milk of our common patrimony?

His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti has done what the Abia PDP had no guts or even desire to do. The Executive Governor has demonstrated and shown that he is in charge and will not sweep any allegation under the carpet as was the case under the Abia PDP. The Governor's moral compass remains ever dependable and unquestionable!

The suspended Commissioner for Health, Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo was not and has not been indicted. She was suspended to step aside to allow for thorough and unbiased investigation without interference. Assuming but not conceding that the Commissioner for Health’s suspension and Chief Press Secretary’s removal was related to alleged corrupt practices, you have inadvertently but correctly admitted the zero tolerance for corruption under the New Abia and her devoted servant Alex Chioma Otti.

Abians were not happy for your 8 years in (im) 'PRUDENT' spending and management of their resources! Of course they overwhelmingly rejected and retired all your billboard and social media antics! You cannot build such huge Roads, Drainages, Schools, Bridges, Enyimba Economic City and Missing Airport Projects on billboards without expecting it to crumble and collapse under their own weight. You cannot owe in some cases, 36 months arrears of salaries, several years of unpaid pensions and gratuities without experiencing the sort of implosion you did!

The people of Abia State are very happy and excited about the 'WASTEFUL EXPENDITURES' of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti on payment of salaries and pensions of workers without classification into core and non-core, construction and reconstruction and lightning of Port-Harcourt Road by Julius Berger (Go and verify), People's Road, Emelogu Road, Jubilee Road, Kent Road, Umuimo Road, College Road, University Road, Ekeakpara Road, Ossai Road, Ohanku Road, Cemetery Road, Umuahia to Arochukwu Road (Abia North), Isiukwuato Road, Onuimo Road, Obiohia Road, Umule Road and tens of other Roads across the 3 Senatorial Zones.

The ongoing rehabilitation of public schools and restoration of the glorious days of public schools with hiring of thousands of qualified teachers and staff, the planned engagement of independent education inspectors to maintain pre-set standard of learning and Infrastructure in the schools, the ongoing office buildings in the dilapidated 'Old' Government House, around shabby looking Government offices and institutions, the ongoing State ICT Centre, the rehabilitation and refitting of ABSUTH and other Secondary Health facilities around the State and lots more. The Executive Governor is just starting with the 'WASTEFUL EXPENDITURES' for the good of the State and her Citizens. The plans are huge and ambitious and Uche Aguoru must definitely choose between aligning with the State and Welfare of the People or freezing in isolation of the lone old order.

Abia State will remain on the National and Global Map and News for the right reasons irrespective of Mr. Uche Aguoru and his 'LONE' opposition narratives and misinformation machinery including Social Media ma********on without or**sm. Mr. Aguoru, democracy is about the people. It is of, by and for the people. The people hired and gave His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti the mandate to serve them and the approval rating is very high. The same people did not only suspend the Abia PDP, they rejected and retired them to the abyss.

THE SUN IS SHINING IN ABIA STATE FINALLY, SAYS DATTI BABA-AHMED; AS ABIA-BORN SUPPER EAGLES PLAYER, FRANK ONYEKA SETS TO BUILD A WORLD-CLASS FOOTBALL ACADEMY IN ABIA

The vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 Presidential election, Sen. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has applauded the Governor and the people of Abia State for the change and progress being witnessed in the State, saying that the sun is shining in Abia finally and that truth is beginning to prevail.

Sen. Baba-Ahmed spoke on Monday 19th June, 2024 when he visited Governor Otti in Abia State, in company of Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfield player Frank Onyeka, who has come to build a World-class Football Academy in the State.
“The sun is shining in Abia State finally. I am glad that truth is beginning to prevail and people are seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
“I rejoice with the good people of Abia State for this change they’ve been able to bring for themselves. And, I call on them to continue to see us, myself and His Excellency Peter Obi as their brothers and partners in this progress”, an excited Sen. Baba-Ahmed said.

Speaking further on the purpose of his visit, he said, “I brought your own son whom I have adopted, again, to his father the Governor of Abia State. He goes by the name Frank Onyeka. He plays football for Nigeria and how we met and became close to the extent that I adopted him is that he is going into the line of education.
“Never mind that they are playing sports – football. Football is education. That is my calling. That also happens to be the calling of our leader here (Governor Otti) who has already been leading with remarkable 20% of budget allocation in education of Abia State budget, which is close to 26% of UNESCO and World Bank, and the UN. And I believe before the end of his 8-year tenure Insha Allah, he will make that 26% and possibly exceed.”

Sen. Datti commended Governor Otti for the warm, special and prompt attention that was given to him and Governor Otti’s firm promise to help Frank Onyeka realize his dream of building a sports academy in Abia State. He said, “This is a legacy that has brought all of our careers and ambitions together. When I spoke to His Excellency he said this is a simple one. I will fix it, you don’t need to come and I said Your Excellency, the important things need to be treated as such. I will bring this your son to you. And, about the greatest honour that a visitor can be given, I was invited when the meeting (Executive Council Meeting) was paused to attend to me.”
“And we presented our case about a football academy by the son of Abia State to His Excellency the Governor, who has made a noble honourable promise to the realization of that noble dream. I thank you very much.”

Responding, Gov. Otti said that it was a great pleasure to have His Excellency, Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed visit Abia with his adopted son who is also my son, from Umunneoche Local Government of Abia state and his beautiful wife, describing their visit as good news. “Interestingly, this is good news because they are coming to invest in Abia State. And all that I am required to do is to use my red pen and issue them a C of O (Certificate of Occupancy) and that I will do in the next 48 hours.
“I expect that the investment would be made, he is not looking to borrow the money, he has the funding and he just wants to give back to his State, support young people who want to be like him because he started like this too. So we are very grateful, we are very happy that distinguished Senator, His Excellency brought them himself,” a delighted Governor Otti said

Frank Onyeka who also plays for English Premiership side, Brentford FC of England said he was bringing the investment back home because of the changes Governor Otti is bringing to the State and the need to give back to society. In his words,
“Because I have seen the Governor’s vision in improving the State and also trying to bring more investments into the State. So for me, I think I’m happy to come back to my State, I also want to give back to the people of Abia State, that’s why I am here.“

The investment visit no doubt has further given a boost to Governor Otti's progressive push in the sports sector having promised to build a standard Games Village at Nsulu.

He further advises them to eschew violence and other diversive tendencies at all times, and embrace peaceful coexistence and always support and pray for our leaders at all levels to succeed even in these trying moment that the Nation and her citizens are passing through.

The Mayor also reaafirmed to the Muslim faithfuls in Isiala Ngwa South of his commitment and resolve towards building a new Isiala Ngwa South that will know no bound, tribe, religion, or clan, but to ensure all citizens and residents of Isiala Ngwa South continue to live in peace, even as we collectively push for a common front, and more revitalised improved economic status of the LGA.

Exposing the Rot from the Old Abia....

Agents of the immediate Abia state government shared the attached pictures this morning and wrote:

The truth is that mediocrity has a way of exposing and indicting itself without knowing it. After years of lies, distortions and denials, they have finally admitted that the Ikpeazu led-government abandoned our schools to decay and deteriorate, just like they did in many other sectors. Unfortunately, while these schools and roads decayed, the enablers of the decay and destruction built mansions for themselves and lived happily in affluence.

It's interesting that what their government couldn't do for eight years, they now expect the present government to do them in one year, of course, Governor Otti is already doing them and will do them to the satisfaction of our people.We have no excuses not to serve our people meritoriously.

Recently, I shared pictures of ongoing work at Boys Technical College, Aba, and those who had claimed we were doing nothing in our schools went into hiding.The pictures really shut them up.

I'm happy that through the mischief of the agents of the former government, the world has seen the true situation at Umuimo High School, Osisioma LGA of Abia State.

I would have been sharing these pictures from the 17 LGAs, but that would amount to reducing ourselves to the mediocre level of Old Abia, because our people knew the sad and sorry state of things before electing Governor Otti to salvage the situation.

These pictures will no doubt embarrass and provoke my man, Onyebuchi Ememanka, who is a son of Osisioma and the Spokesman of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu. Buchi will still be wondering how his beloved Osisioma was completely abandoned throughout those eight years of rudderless leadership. Well, my friend should take heart, because, incompetence knows no brotherhood and recognises no loyalty.

Just a few weeks ago, the Osisioma-Ekeakpara road that was abandoned for years after series of fake assurances given to the people by the dislodged PDP led-government, was awarded by Governor Alex Otti, to the relief, joy and excitement of the people of the area.

Like other schools that are being reconstructed or have been pencilled down for reconstruction, Umuimo High School, Osisioma will definitely feel the New Abia touch soon.
