2023: Time To Restore The Fortunes Of Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency

The battle ahead in 2023 of who fills the vacuum of the prestigious constituency was one of the hardest puzzle within the area, not until our very own son Akparawa Okon Imerh, a man of reputable character and a philanthropist indicated interest to represent the area in the House of representatives to restore confidence, dignity and bring us the lost glory of effective representation of the constituency.

Recall that Distinguished Senator Ita Solomon Enang made an indelible mark and achievements when he represented the constituency from 1999-2011 and left a big vacuum which no one has able to fill for almost 12 years now.

Akparawa Okon Imerh, a former Chief protocol to the then governor of Akwa Ibom State, Arc. Obong Victor Attah, has the needed pedigree and antecedents to fill that gap. He is one man that is so cherished and loved by the people. His commitments and supports towards the vision of All Progressives Congress from the days of defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), is unprecedented. As the run-up to the 2023 elections continue to gather momentum, a former chief protocol to His Excellency, (Arc.) Obong Victor Attah, Akparawa Okon Imerh has joined the House of representatives race in Itu/Ibiono Ibom federal constituency under the platform of All progressives Congress APC.

His aspirations to represent the good people of Itu/Ibiono Federal constituency came after due consultations of stakeholders and party faithfuls in the area.

Okon Imerh is one of the trusted and accessible politician we have in the area and his desire to represent the constituency has been his dream over the years.

The erudite politician and philanthropist had earlier the week, picked his expression of interest and nomination forms to join the race ahead of 2023. He presented the nomination form to APC faithfuls across all wards in the Federal constituency for signing and endorsements and his race has received a lot of supports and accolades in the area.
