PRESS RELEASE
A NATIONAL CALL TO NIGERIAN YOUTHS: RISE, ORGANIZE, AND SHAPE THE FUTURE
The future of Nigeria is not tomorrow—it is today. The time has come for every young Nigerian to rise above division, apathy, and fear and become an active participant in building the nation we all desire.
Speaking on behalf of the movement, AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A, South South Zonal Media Director of YOUTH IN POLITICS (YIP), declared that the future of Nigeria depends on the willingness of young people to rise and take their rightful place in the democratic process. He emphasized that the nation's progress will be accelerated when youths unite with one voice for positive change.
The YOUTH IN POLITICS (YIP) is calling on passionate, visionary, and patriotic youths across the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory to unite under one purpose: to promote responsible youth participation in leadership, governance, and nation-building.
According to AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A, this is a defining moment for Nigerian youths to embrace leadership with courage, wisdom, and responsibility. He urged every young Nigerian not to sit on the sidelines but to become part of a movement that is committed to shaping the future of the nation.
We call on youths from Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, and every other state across Nigeria to connect with the leadership of YOUTH IN POLITICS (YIP) in their respective states and geopolitical zones. Let us work together to raise a new generation of leaders whose voices will shape the future of our nation.
AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A further advised all Nigerian youths to begin organizing themselves within their communities, register with the appropriate YIP leadership structures in their states and zones, and become active participants in the process of nation-building.
This is a movement for every young Nigerian who believes that our generation must no longer remain spectators. We must become participants in the democratic process by organizing, engaging our communities, and contributing positively to the development of Nigeria.
AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A passionately appealed to every eligible Nigerian youth to obtain and safeguard their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC). He stressed that the PVC is more than a card—it is the voice, power, and constitutional right of every citizen to determine the future of the nation through peaceful democratic participation.
He also called on Nigerian youths to reject every form of violence, electoral malpractice, hate speech, and political intimidation. AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A maintained that the future of Nigeria can only be secured through peace, unity, dialogue, mutual respect, and lawful participation in the democratic process. He reminded youths that lasting change is achieved with ballots—not bullets.
We also urge every eligible youth to obtain and safeguard their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC). Your PVC is your constitutional right and your opportunity to participate in choosing leaders through peaceful and democratic elections. Every vote matters, and every responsible citizen has a role to play.
Reaffirming his commitment to youth development, AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A encouraged young Nigerians not to lose hope in the nation. He stated that with unity, discipline, integrity, innovation, and active participation, Nigerian youths can transform the country's future and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Nigeria needs courageous, informed, and committed young people who are ready to lead with vision, competence, accountability, and a genuine passion for national development. The time to prepare is now.
As AMB. PRINCE KOJO E.A concluded, he called on every Nigerian youth to rise above ethnic, religious, and political differences and work together for a stronger, united, and more prosperous Nigeria where the voices and contributions of young people are respected and valued.
Together, let us build a stronger, united, and more prosperous Nigeria where the voices and contributions of young people are respected and valued.
Signed:
