Celebrated my one year Anniversary at my present posting with my Staff. I give God all the glory.

Happy new year to everyone on this platform.
The Ministry is poised to deliver this year.
Some of the programmes planned for 2022 are: to launch a skills acquisition programme with the acronym DIETS, register the unemployed, and resolve Labour issues in the state.
This was stated in the first management meeting attended by the Hon. Commissioner, Permanent Secretary, and all the Head of Departments. He assured of a peaceful working relationship with the PS and called on all HODs to work hard to achieve set targets

The Hon. Commissioner, Hon Braboke Stanley Enaibagha, being presented with a Service Ambassador Medal and Certificate of Integrity Stewardship Service Ambassador by the DG of Centre for Peace & Self Values Reorientation Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

Permanent Secretary, Arc. Ere Efeke paid a visit to Raymond Pripamowei Kentebe, who is recuperating at St. Peters Hospital, Yenagoa. Wishing him quick recovery.

Celebrating the Birthday of our Head of Human Resource Management Mr. Gordon Macaulay Ebi. Let's join to wish him good health, long life and prosperity. Cheers!

Happy Workers Day. Permanent Secretary with Chairman NLC and TUC; also with HODs of the Ministry

A. The Ministry shall soon commence the registration of all the Unemployed in Bayelsa State with a view to maintaining a Comprehensive Data Base.
The categories shall be:
1. Primary School Certificate; indicate skill needed.
2. Secondary School Certificate; inducate skill needed
3. Trade Test 1,2 & 3
4. Special Certificates
5. OND
6. HND
7. BSc
8. PGD
9. MSc
10. PhD
B. The Ministry shall also interface with Employers to link up those who have job openings with job seekers.
C. The Ministry shall visit and invite Employers to ensure that they abide by the Law of 2005 that 75% of all employees in the junior cadre are Bayelsa indigenes.
D. The Ministry shall organise skill acquisition training for interested Bayelsans who are commited and willing to pay for it
