Further to the earlier press release on the joint security operation conducted in Mubi and its environs which led to the arrest of seventy three (73) suspects, the Adamawa State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that ongoing investigation has so far linked twenty three (23) suspects to various criminal offences.
Preliminary investigation revealed that some of the suspects were among persons previously placed on the Commandβs wanted list for their alleged involvement in violent crimes and other criminal activities within the State.
The Command wishes to state that the twenty three (23) indicted suspects have been arraigned before a competent court of jurisdiction for prosecution, while investigation is being intensified to apprehend other fleeing members of the criminal syndicates and further unravel criminal networks connected to the suspects.

The Adamawa State Police Command has recorded a major breakthrough in its sustained effort to combat crime and criminality across the State, with the arrest of seventy three (73) suspects during a coordinated joint security operation in Mubi and its environs.
The operation, carried out in collaboration with sister security agencies, was a direct response to concerns raised by members of the communities, supported by credible intelligence over the activities of suspected criminals operating within identified black spots and hideouts in the areas.
Acting on this information, security operatives stormed identified black spots and hideouts and successfully dislodged criminal elements and restored public confidence. The suspects arrested are believed to be involved in offences ranging from , drug-related crimes, House to House Robbery and other violence crimes.
