DEAR VIBRANT YOUTHS OF ADAMAWA STATE: THE REAL ENGINES OF OUR TOMORROW!

As Christmas and New Year roll in with all the jollof, rice, and chicken vibes, let's celebrate smartly amid the security realities we all know too well. Plan your movements like a pro footballer—avoid late-night solo adventures on lonely roads, especially in rural spots where "surprise guests" might show up uninvited. Stick to well-lit areas in Yola or your towns, travel in groups (safety in numbers, no be joke!), and let family know your itinerary. If you're heading to church services or crossover nights, go early and bounce before darkness turns the party sour—NSCDC don deploy plenty personnel to watch our backs, so cooperate with them. No unnecessary show-off with gadgets or cash; keep am low-key so Santa no go deliver unwanted drama. Enjoy the festivities, but your life na the biggest gift—protect am!

And as we crossover into 2026, make resolutions that count: channel that youthful energy into community vigilance—be each other's keeper, report suspicious vibes sharply, and support peace-building efforts. Drink responsibly (or not at all if driving), no reckless biking or "Detty December" turns deadly. Let's toast to joy, family, and a safer Adamawa without giving insecurity any invitation. His Excellency the Governor and this office dey fully behind you—stay safe, stay united, and make this season one to remember for good reasons. Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year! 🎄🥂

A HISTORIC SYMPHONY IN THE HEART OF YOLA

Today, January 14th, 2025, stands as a moment etched in the annals of tradition and pride, as His Royal Majesty, Sir Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II of the Nungurala Kingdom, graced the Adamawa State Government House with a historic visit. In a scene reminiscent of regal splendor, the air in Yola pulsated with the rhythm of Lunguda cultural dancers, their vibrant steps echoing centuries of heritage. The colorful native attires, flowing like rivers of tradition, painted a living portrait of unity, resilience, and a people steeped in decorum. In the dignified embrace of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, the occasion was a testament to the gravity of purpose and the indelible spirit of harmony.

As the procession wove its way, the tapestry of leadership unfurled. District Heads, Village Heads, and key luminaries from the Kingdom graced the entourage, alongside the Council Chairman, the constituency’s Member of Parliament, and the Governor's Advisors hailing from the Guyuk local government. Their presence, a kaleidoscope of influence and tradition, symbolized the united aspirations of a people who have long yearned for such a pivotal moment. The sight was not just an assembly; it was a declaration—a celebration of the cultural and political strides forged in collective harmony.

In his address, the Governor, visibly moved, expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming turnout of the Lunguda people. Their pride in showcasing their heritage resonated as a clarion call for unity, evoking comparisons to the majestic displays of the United Kingdom at its zenith. The echoes of this day ripple beyond the corridors of power, into the hearts of the common man, affirming that when tradition meets governance, the soul of a people finds its voice. For today was not just a visit but a reminder that history is alive, and its torch burns brightly in the hands of those who dare to dream and act with purpose.
