How can philanthropy strengthen communities and promote justice in turbulent times—and how can fundraisers help fulfil its potential?

Join EFA for an online keynote with Bill Stanczykiewicz, Ed.D. of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy titled Philanthropy, Passion & Resilience. Drawing on the Global Philanthropy Environment Index, with a particular focus on Europe, Bill will explore philanthropy’s impact on improving lives, strengthening communities and promoting justice—and the essential leadership fundraisers bring to this work.

Originally planned for the EFA Learning Symposium in Berlin, this rescheduled session welcomes Symposium participants, EFA members and the wider fundraising community – so come along to explore the wider purpose of your work and the difference your leadership can make.

SOFII’s I Wish I'd Thought of That ( ) event returns on Wednesday 25 November, with a great line-up of fundraisers all celebrating the fundraising ideas they admire most!

A peer-to-peer fundraising campaign generated €85,000 in donations for the Small Animal Clinic at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Ghent University – but it also led to valuable new relationships, both with individuals and companies, that could be further developed for future support. Shortly after the campaign, the clinic also received three legacy gifts, and several individuals made enquiries about including the faculty or clinic in their wills.
