โœจ Throwback to Day 3 and last day of our LTTA in Reggio Emilia!โœจ

We had the incredible opportunity to learn about an important piece of Reggioโ€™s history and its resistance against Nazi-fascism. Our visit to the Partigiano Reggiano mural and the inspiring story of the Manfredi family, filled with ideals and democratic values, was truly unforgettable. โค๏ธ

We also had the opportunity to visit a Parmigiano Reggiano factory and learned all about the traditional process behind this iconic cheese, an absolutely fascinating experience and certainly tasty experience! ๐Ÿง€โœจ

To wrap up our training, we gathered in the beautiful Stanza del Tricolore to discuss the piloting phases of the STAR 2.0 initiatives and the upcoming local workshops weโ€™ll be implementing with young people.. A lot of challenges and possibilities, but also fresh ideas and solutions!

It was a journey filled with joy, enthusiasm, creativity, and the shared motivation to make a positive change through street art. ๐ŸŽจโœจ

A huge thank you to everyone who took part! We canโ€™t wait to keep growing together on the STAR 2.0 Community Platform at this link https://hero-academy.eu/star-2.0/index.asp and continue exploring the power of street art to foster social inclusion. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ซ

Delved deeper in the world of street art and community engagement with an interactive discussion with street artists (name) on the best practices for community and youth engament when organising street art workshops.

With a bit of a creative touch and collages, youth workers presented their own local contexts, outlining the peculiarities, opportunities and challenge they face ๐ŸŽจโœจ

On-field visits to local initiatives and centres such as , and a tour of Officine Reggiane allowed us to get a practical sense of the ways in which education and street art can shape and influence the communities around ๐Ÿ™Œ

Started off with small activities to give a taste of the content from the first five modules then youth workers had the time to exchange and give feedback of their experience. Day 1 set the tone for an inspiring journey.๐Ÿ™Œ

Major throwback to September and the incredible energy at the Placemaking Europe event in Reggio Emilia last September 25th ! ๐Ÿ”™๐ŸŒ

The interest in the STAR 2.0 toolkit was huge! We involved more than 15 participants coming from all over the world: Turkiye, USA, South Africa and many more!

๐ŸŽจAt Binario49, the Artist PsikoPlanet encouraged them to paint and put into the practice street art techniques and tools, included in the STAR 2.0, proving that the most memorable learning is always practical!
Plus, we had a fantastic, spontaneous encounter with the artist Collettivo FX whose current project perfectly aligns with our toolkit's values. โœจ

Speaking of Reggio Emilia... We are heading back next week for our in-person training from the 11th to the 14th of November with youth workers from all across Europe! Get ready for a full week of creativity, street art, and youth empowerment.

Remember to also check out the ongoing conversations on our platform as well as the STAR 2.0 online course at this link: https://hero-academy.eu/star-2.0/index.asp
