New home for creatives in Amsterdam; working and living under one roof. Experience designer Tijn Hoyng lived and worked in Silicon Valley together with designers, developers, sales managers and all sort of different entrepreneurs under one roof. The mix of expertise with the same entrepreneurial mentality has given birth to the most interesting projects. So this was what he would like to achieve in The Netherlands too and that is why he started ‘Je m’apelle Company’.

Rooms available in the Je m'appelle Company building - Amsterdam-West!

Je m'appelle Company facilitates housing, including office and a network of young professionals in the creative industry. In the Amsterdam building of Je m'appelle Company are 2 rooms available from Februari. Moving in directly is possible!

Housing
Momentarily Je m'appelle Company consists out of a building in Amsterdam, a Castle in the South of Holland and a building in Lisbon which is planned to open in 2021. As a member you are free to visit, sleep and work at the other locations. In 2 apartments of the building is a room available. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet are shared with only your roommates. The bedrooms are not furnished!

-730e (8m2) This is including e/w/g/wifi/cleaning.

Apartment number 2
-900e (12m2) This is including e/w/g/wifi/cleaning.

Office
On the ground floor there is an apartment that includes a 90 m2 office. During the workdays you are free to work there.

Network
The Amsterdam building has 25 tenants being part of the group, The Castle 4 people. Total group including external members consists out of 70 young creatives, active in widespread creative areas like design, art directing, architecture, tech and coding. As a tenant you will be added to the Je m'appelle commune member portfolio.

There will be monthly meetings, inspirational talks and gatherings organised. The Je m'appelle membership is 30 euros.

Selection
We check if personality and quality of work fits the group. There will be a talk with Je m'appelle first and if
a match, a meeting with the apartment follows.

Live with us, in our new castle.
We are working on a very special project; our new castle near Den Bosch. We like to disconnect and focus together on projects regarding music, entertainment and the creative industry.

And right now, we have a castle (!!) in the middle of the stunning nature of North Brabant. We will use this castle to disconnect and train, train hard on initiatives in the music, entertainment, and creative industry.

We’re looking for hosts of the castle.
To build this thing up, firstly we select the tenants who can actually live in the Castle. We’re looking for 2 new people (4 total) who would like to live in the castle, help to organize our events, welcome our teams, and work on your own projects.

This fall we will invite a select group of producers, young professionals and more, who will work on sprints in the castle. So if you want to live in a castle starting October and would like to help with our program, send us a DM for more information!

Open Call.
We’re inviting artists, scientists and creatives to apply for a short term program starting from September in our villa, surrounded by the stunning nature of North Brabant (located nearby Breda). Mediated by a team of developers, designers, artists and established organizations. Participants have the chance to collaborate on our projects or work on their own research, ideas and companies.

Background info: I’m very proud to introduce our 4th building! Je m'appelle Company is a concept where 40 young professionals live and work in Amsterdam, Lisbon and later this year in Tokyo. In addition to the bigger cities, we should not forget the value of living off the grid. After a proper search, we got the opportunity to rent a villa (nearby Breda). We are going to live with young professionals working on tackling major challenges regarding architecture, deep code, digital design and more!
