📷 🍉 Donderdag sit-in op De Brink! 🍉
Het is rustig in vakantievierend Nederland. Maar in Palestina neemt het staatsgeweld meer en meer toe. Waarom? Omdat wij het allemaal toestaan. Israël voelt zich niet alleen onschendbaar, maar is het ook.
De door Israel gepleegde grootste misdaden op deze aarde worden niet bestraft. Genocide, etnische zuivering, illegale bezetting en annexatie, moord met voorbedachte rade op kinderen onder de 15, gamification met dodelijke slachtoffers, weigeren van medische hulp en hulpgoederen, ecocide, landroof, verwoesting van privaateigendom, kidnapping, misdaden tegen de menselijkheid.... Ze blijven onbestraft.

Twee dingen springen er deze maand uit: buitenposten zijn nu gelegaliseerd en toegenomen financiele en politieke steun voor de infrastructuur van de kolonisten worden nu echt financieel en politiek zwaar gesteund. We zien een versnelde uitbreiding van nederzettingen onder grof staatsgeweld.
En de medicide (Tlaleng Mofokeng, VN) bestaat bovenop het targeten van artsen en ziekenhuizen, en het negeren van de uitspraak van het Internationaal Gerechtshof om meer humanitaire hulp toe te laten, uit het weigeren te evacueren van 18.000 zwaargewonde kinderen en volwassenen die medische zorg nodig hebben. Israel laat ze sterven. Nederland heeft in oktober 5 Palestijnse kinderen opgevangen voor medische zorg. Daarna geen meer. Het kabinet is bang "dat evacués en hun begeleiders in Nederland asiel zullen aanvragen".
Kabinet, luister! Verbied alle samenwerking met Israel, cultureel, politiek en economisch. Het is al een paar jaar tijd voor reisverboden voor geidentificeerde misdadigers, zionisten en kolonisten, het bevriezen van tegoeden, boycots en sancties. Of toon gewoon op zijn minst wat menselijkheid. Kom in actie, nu!

It is quiet in the Netherlands on vacation. But in Palestine, state violence is increasing more and more. Why? Because we allow it all. Israel not only feels untouchable, but actually is.
The greatest crimes committed by Israel on this earth go unpunished. Genocide, ethnic cleansing, illegal occupation and annexation, premeditated murder of children under 15, gamification with fatal casualties, refusal of medical aid and relief supplies, ecocide, land grabbing, destruction of private property, kidnapping, crimes against humanity.... They remain unpunished.

Two things stand out this month: outposts have now been legalized, and increased financial and political support for the settlers' infrastructure is now truly receiving heavy financial and political backing. We are witnessing an accelerated expansion of settlements under brutal state violence.
And the medicide (Tlaleng Mofokeng, UN), in addition to targeting doctors and hospitals and ignoring the International Court of Justice ruling to allow more humanitarian aid, consists of refusing to evacuate 18,000 severely injured children and adults who need medical care. Israel is letting them die. The Netherlands took in 5 Palestinian children for medical care last October. Since then, none more. Our Cabinet fears "that evacuees and their escorts will apply for asylum in the Netherlands."
Cabinet, listen! Ban all cooperation with Israel, cultural, political, and economic. For a few years now, it has been time for travel bans for identified criminals, Zionists, and settlers, the freezing of assets, boycotts, and sanctions. Or simply show at least some humanity. Take action, now!
