Hi everyone! My name is Martine and I’m the chair of the 41st Board of Geo Promotion. As a chair, it is my responsibility to keep an overview on how the organization of the conference is going. I’m also working on my Masters programme in Society, Sustainability and Planning and started working as a student assistant for the department of Demography at our beloved faculty. Next to my studies, I like organising fun evenings with friends and exploring new cities whenever I have the time. I’m very excited for the upcoming year and I hope to see you all at the Geo ProMotion Conference on February 19th!

Save the date for the Geo Promotion conference! We are proud to announce that the 30th Geo Promotion conference will take place on the 19th of February 2027.

A day where you get the opportunity to explore the field of spatial sciences, connect with companies, gain practical skills, hear from inspiring speakers, and expand your network.

We would like to formally introduce the 41st board of Foundation Geo Promotion 2026-2027:

• Martine van der Meer - Chairman
• Kaan Uludağ - Vice Chairman
• Danilo Blake - Secretary
• Jeroen Schouten - Treasurer
• Isis Bos - Commissioner Internal Relations
• Estée Claassen - Commissioner External Relations

In de coming days, the new board will introduce themselves and the official theme of this year’s conference will be announced, so stay tuned. We are looking forward to organise an interesting and inspiring conference to give students the opportunity to explore the field of spatial sciences!
