Listening is political. Being heard is powerful. 🤝

Today, Kent Muslim Greens were proud to spend time listening to our community — with patient ears, open hearts and a genuine willingness to have conversations that don’t always happen in traditional political spaces.

Too many people have felt dismissed, ignored or simply not included in conversations that directly affect their lives- especially within current political climate.

We believe engagement has to mean more than asking for a vote. It means showing up, listening without judgement, creating space for difficult conversations and making sure people have a real opportunity to be heard.

From our mosques and community spaces to local and national politics, every voice matters.

That’s the kind of politics we want to help build in Kent: accessible, inclusive and rooted in the communities we serve. 💚

Three years into Israel’s genocide in Gaza, Palestinians continue to face killing, displacement and starvation.

The ‘ceasefire’ has not ended Palestinian suffering. In Gaza, the devastation continues. Across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, settlement expansion, settler violence and attacks on the sanctity and status of Masjid Al-Aqsa continue to escalate.

Britain cannot continue to arm Israel, offer military and intelligence support and allow trade with illegal settlements while turning a blind eye to the genocide of Palestinians.

On 10 October, join us in London to demand an end to British complicity and justice and freedom for the Palestinian people.

A community that works together grows together.

Today KMG supported the fundraiser to help build the new Chatham Hill mosque in Chatham.

We have some clothes left, so if you're interested please let us know.

All profits go to the new mosque project.
