Op maandag 21 september 2026 zal het Avondsymposium plaatsvinden. Het thema van het Avondsymposium is ‘The Future of Cancer Care’ en zal in het Engels gegeven worden. Voor het bijwonen van het avondsymposium krijg je 1 SAC-punt. Meer informatie over SAC kan je vinden op de website onder het kopje studie. Het symposium zal van 17:30 uur tot 21:00 uur plaatsvinden in Atlas in het Victor J. Koningsbergergebouw. De kosten voor het symposium bedragen € 4,- en er zijn broodjes en soep beschikbaar. De inschrijvingen openen op 15 september 2026 om 13:00 uur. Hopelijk zien we jullie daar!

The Evening symposium will take place on Monday, September 21st, 2026. The theme is ‘The Future of Cancer Care,’ and the event will be given in English. You will earn 1 SAC point for attending. More information about SAC can be found on the website under the ‘study’ section. The symposium will be held from 17:30 PM until 21:00 PM in Atlas in Victor J. Koningsberger Building. The cost is € 4,- and sandwiches and soup will be provided. Registrations will be open at September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

Op vrijdag 18 september wordt er weer een heerlijke Kookcie-lunch verzorgd door de Kookcommissie. Dit keer zijn de All-time Favorites aan de beurt. Tussen 12:00 uur en 14:00 uur kan iedereen komen genieten op het U.P.-hol (BBG 2.83) van de beste en lekkerste gerechten van het afgelopen jaar. De prijs zal afhankelijk zijn van de afname.

On Friday, September 18, the Kookcie will once again be serving up a delicious Kookcie-lunch. This time, the menu features “All-time Favorites.” Between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, everyone is welcome to come to the U.P.-hol (BBG 2.83) and enjoy the best and tastiest dishes from the past year. Op donderdag 17 september staat het eerste EFC-feest van het collegejaar weer voor de deur. Deze keer is het thema ‘Under the sea’. Het EFC-feest zal plaatsvinden in Back & Fourth (Loeff Berchmakerstraat 4, 3512 TD Utrecht) van 22:00 uur tot 04:00 uur. De deuren sluiten om 00:30 uur dus zorg dat je op tijd bent. De entree zal € 3,- zijn voor leden en € 4,- voor niet-leden. Tot dan!

On Thursday, September 17th, the first EFC party of the academic year is coming up. This time, the theme is ‘Under the sea’. The party will take place at Back & Fourth (Loeff Berchmakerstraat 4, 3512 TD Utrecht) from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Doors close at 12:30 AM, so make sure to arrive on time. The entrance fee is € 3,- for members and € 4,- for non-members. See you there!

Op donderdag 17 september 2026 is het weer tijd voor de Masteractiviteit! Dit keer gaan we bootje varen op de Utrechtse grachten. De boottocht zal van 20:30 uur tot 22:00 uur duren en de opstapplaats is op Paardenveld (3511 RD Utrecht). Aan boord zullen genoeg drankjes aanwezig zijn. De kosten zullen ongeveer € 15,- bedragen. Deelnemers van de Masteractiviteit hebben vervolgens gratis toegang tot het aansluitende EFC-feest. Het belooft een leuke vaartocht te worden, dus zorg dat je erbij bent! De inschrijvingen openen dinsdag 8 september om 13:00 uur.

On Thursday September 17th, 2026 the Master activity will take place! This time we will cruise over the city canals in Utrecht. The boat cruise will be from 8:30 PM until 22:00 PM and the starting location is Paardenveld (3511 RD Utrecht). On the boat there will be enough drinks. The costs will be approximately € 15,-. Op maandag 7 september 2026 vindt de eerste U.P.-borrel van het collegejaar plaats! Van 21:00 uur tot 00:00 uur zijn de deuren bij Back & Fourth (Loeff Berchmakerstraat 4, 3512 TD Utrecht) geopend voor iedere U.P.’er om gezellig een drankje te komen doen. De eerstejaarsstudenten zijn vanaf 20:00 uur al welkom. Als je vóór 21:30 uur binnen bent, zal je eerste drankje gratis zijn! Tijdens de borrel is er ook de mogelijkheid om je interesse te laten blijken in één van de U.P.-commissies. Na afloop van de borrel zullen we zoals gewoonlijk nog een kijkje nemen in de stad. Hopelijk tot dan!

From 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the doors will be open for all U.P. members to come and enjoy a drink at Back & Fourth (Loeff Berchmakerstraat 4, 3512 TD Utrecht). First-year students are welcome from 8:00 PM. If you arrive before 9:30 PM, your first drink is free! During the U.P. Drinks, you can show your interest in joining one of the committees. Van maandag 31 augustus tot en met vrijdag 4 september zal de Introductieweek plaatsvinden! Het thema van de Introductieweek is ‘Power UP’. Het introductiekamp zal plaatsvinden op ‘De Hoof’ in Someren, voor velen van ons een vertrouwde plek. Op het introductiekamp zal ook de commissiemarkt plaatsvinden waar de eerstejaarsstudenten kennis kunnen maken met de vele leuke commissies die U.P. te bieden heeft. Het belooft een geweldige week te worden met maar liefst twee themafeesten!

From Monday August 31st until Friday September 4th the Introduction week will take place! This year’s theme is ‘Power UP’. The introduction camp will take place at ‘De Hoof’ in Someren, a familiar place for many of us. At the introduction camp the committee market will also take place where the first years students will be told everything about the many amazing committees U.P. has to offer. It will be an amazing week with no less than two theme party’s!
