The Gambia Tourism Board was pleased to welcome a group of students from Bethel Royal Academy for an educational visit to its complex. The visit, which formed part of the students' academic development, focused on broadening their understanding of Tourism Destination Management and the roles and functions of the GTBoard as the country's tourism authority.

The students were received warmly by GTBoard staff and engaged in a structured question-and-answer session, providing them with the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the mechanisms that drive The Gambia's tourism sector. This kind of direct engagement with industry institutions is invaluable, as it bridges the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice.

Day 2 at ITB Berlin 2026 and The Gambia took centre stage. 🇬🇲

The hall came alive as our talented performers brought the colours, rhythms, and soul of the Smiling Coast to Berlin — stopping the show and drawing crowds from every corner of the fair. From the soulful strings of the kora to the vibrant energy of our traditional dancers, The Gambia reminded the world that our culture is unlike anything else.

This is who we are. This is what awaits you.
