Federation of Women with Disabilities Nepal (FWDN) and Nidwan Nepal (NIDWAN) conducted a two day "National Consultation and Reviews along with all Provincial Representatives on Beijing +30 by Women and Girls with Disabilities in Nepal" with the support of Disability Rights Fund/Disability Rights Advocacy Fund on 23rd and 24th September 2024 (Monday and Tuesday) at Pension Vasana Hotel Dillibazar, Kathmandu. The co-partner organizations in the National Consultation of the project were: National Federation of the Deaf Nepal - NDFN- NDFN , @ Society of Deafblind Parents Nepal (SDBP), National Association of the Sign Language Interpreters Nepal NASLI Nepal (NASLI), Kathmandu (CIL, Kathmandu) and Spinal Cord Injury Network Nepal (SCINN) along with working committee officials and staffs.
On the first day of the consultation, we were truly honored to have the esteemed Chief Guest Parliamentary member/President Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee Hon. Bimala Subedi, Special Guest National Women Commission Hon. chairperson Kamala Parajuli, National Human Rights Commission Hon. Member Prof. Dr. Surya Prasad Dhungel. The session was facilitated by Beyond Beijing Committee Chairperson Ms. Krishna Kumari Waiba, where she introduced us about BPfA and its 12 critical areas and the importance of Review. Similarly, National Network for Beijing+ Review (NNBN) convener Mr. Sabin Shrestha facilitated a session on: Beijing +30 Review, its relevance to diverse women and girls with disabilities, and effective advocacy strategies.
Likewise, the second day of the consultation was led by consultant Mrs. Tanuja Basnet. There was active participation of seven provincial and Federal level representatives as well as other stakeholders from organizations of persons with disabilities.
Therefore, FWDN would like to express special thanks to our collaborative partner of the consultation Nidwan Nepal, DRF/DRAF & Nepal's Program Officer Mr. Krishna Gahatraj ji for your great support in the consultation. Also, we would like to thank our lead partner NDFN along with consortium partners SDBP & NASLI, CIL Kathmandu, SCINN team and all the participants for their great participation and fruitful presence.

अपाङ्गता भएका महिलाहरुको महासंघ नेपालले २०८१ भाद्र १४ गते तदनुसार ३० अगष्ट २०२४ शुक्रवारका दिन DRF/DRAF को साझेदारितामा १ दिने "डिजिटल सचेतनामूलक कार्यशाला" अपाङ्गता भएका महिलाहरुको महासंघ नेपालको सभाकक्षमा सम्पन्न गरेको थियो । सो कार्यशालामा परियोजनाको राष्ट्रिय गठबन्धनमा रहेका साझेदारि संस्थाहरु राष्ट्रिय बहिरा महासंघ नेपाल, बहिरा–दृष्टिविहिन अभिभावक नेपाल, राष्ट्रिय साङ्गेतिक भाषा दोभाषे संघ नेपाल र अपाङ्गता भएका महिलाहरुको महासंघ नेपालका कार्य समितीका पदाधिकारीहरु र कर्मचारीहरुको सक्रिय सहभागिता रहेको थियो । उक्त कार्यशालालाई Diverse pattern का संस्थापक र प्रबन्ध निर्देशक सागर प्रसाईले सहजिकरण गर्नु भएको थियो । उक्त कार्यशालामा Website Management, Website Design, Digital Security, Canva, जस्ता बिषयहरु. समावेश गरिएको थियो ।

सामुदायिक सहायता माग्दै अपांगता भएकाहरू सडकमा सरकारले सामुदायिक सहायता तथा व्यक्तिगत सहयोगी सेवा यथाशीघ्र निःशुल्क उपलब्ध गराउनुपर्ने माग राख्दै अपांगता भए....
