As part of a wider strategy, ILC’s country-level work is implemented through NLC in selected countries to promote and safeguard peoples land rights.

The National Engagement Strategy (NES) was conceived as a response to the need for ILC to engage in selected countries in a focused, coherent, and coordinated manner which emerged from past lessons.
