Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari

Today, 8th March, 2026, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari pays homage to all the women who keep this world a better place to live in. May this day and the days coming forward be a reminder for all of us, to raise our voices against all forms of inequality against women, where it's deemed necessary.

According to the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) proposed by the United Nations(UN), the goal number 5 i.e, Gender Equality is a feat we thrive to achieve by 2030. Let us all keep a promise to ourselves to ensure, fairness, equality as well as equity among all the genders.

Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari uses this platform to raise it's voice to unite us all towards a fair, equal and an impartial world where everyone is treated without bias regardless of their gender.

Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari concurs with the "Declaration of principles on tolerance": adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO at its 28th session, Paris, 16 November 1995.

"Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human."

In 1996, the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 51/95 proclaiming 16 November as International Day for Tolerance.

This action followed the adoption of a Declaration of Principles on Tolerance by UNESCO's Member States on 16 November 1995. Among other things, the Declaration affirms that tolerance is neither indulgence nor indifference. It is respect and appreciation of the rich variety of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human. Tolerance recognizes the universal human rights and fundamental freedoms of others. People are naturally diverse; only tolerance can ensure the survival of mixed communities in every region of the globe.

This World Pneumonia Day, Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbaristands together to raise awareness and fight against pneumonia — a preventable and treatable disease that still takes too many lives.

Celebrated our past president Leo Asmita Lamichhane’s birthday at kopila who is also Immediate past multiple district president of Leo Multiple District 325, Nepal and Past district president of Leo District Council 325 S,Nepal. We all are proud to have such an amazing leader in our family.

On 12th October, 2025, Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari and Rotaract Club of Manohara signed MOU with a vision of working together and encouraging fellowships program between these two clubs. President of Leo Club of Kathmandu Fulbari Leo Rukesh Paudel and President of Rotaract Club Of Manohara Miss Sujata Khawas signed the MoU. This MoU is yearly agreement of two clubs. This MoU was signed in present of both clubs vice president.
