Hand-crocheted with love, Dawa Yangzum Sherpa Doll is our Everest Day tribute to every woman who has stood — or dreamed of standing — on top of the mountain.

New to our collection.
Made for the mountains.
Made for the girls who look up.

This year, Nepali women once again rose to extraordinary heights on Everest, from record-breaking climbers to first-time summiteers carrying stories of courage, resilience, and ambition.

Congratulations to Nim Diki Sherpa, Anita Karki, Neema Lhamu Sherpa, Preeti Rateria Agrawal and Nilam Poudel. As well as following in the footsteps of inspiring climbers like Lakpa Sherpa, Purnima Shrestha, Funjo Lama, and Furdiki Sherpa, they continue to show every woman looking toward the Himalayas that there is space for her at the summit too.

Their journeys reflect not only personal achievement, but the growing strength and visibility of Nepali women in the mountains.

Dawa Yangzum Sherpa Doll celebrates every one of them, and every woman daring to imagine her own summit someday.

Some names become history. Some become inspiration.
On Baisakh 10, we remember Pasang Lhamu Sherpa , the first Nepali woman to summit Everest 🗻, turning an impossible dream into a defining moment for a nation🇳🇵.

Her journey was never just about the summit, but about rising beyond every barrier in her path , a moment of immense pride for all Nepalis. Her legacy continues to live on in every mountain trail and every dream that dares to climb higher.

As this is our first edition of the scholarship, we were encouraged to receive 84 applications, with 59 complete submissions reviewed. From these, 23 candidates were shortlisted, and 13 advanced to final in-person interviews.
The final selection was made by an independent jury panel, ensuring a fair and thoughtful process throughout.

We are excited to have her join our Trek with Purpose team from May 16–28, 2026.
