We were very gland to welcome Dr Kachen Wongasthapornchai Regional Manager FAO RAP, Mr Ken Shimizu FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal and Dr Gael Lamielle Regional surveillance coordinator to Veterinary Laboratory Pokhara and share our work. Dr Kachen and Mr Ken Visited our lab facilities and provided invaluable suggestions regarding Animal disease surveillance and Molecular diagnosis.

Joint Team of Veterinary Laboratory Pokhara and Veterinary Hospital Kaski conducted outbreak investigation on suspected LUMPY SKIN DISEASE. Total of 39 samples were collected from affected cattle and buffalos of Annapurna RM and Pokhara Metropolitan Kaski District.
Investigation was led by Dr Ganesh KC comprising Dr Dilip and co.
