Protect Rotokakahi

Volunteers just drop in and give the reserve a quick trim as their passing speaks volumes about the perception of this particular occupation 3 years on and still has positive support. Thankyou to everyone who has that connection to doo a little bit all adds up in a positive way.

Co-management plan between Council and Hapu begins apopo around maintenance of the 2 sections that make the new Moringaehe Reserve.

Tumeke our taitamariki... kaitiakitanga is in good hands. Our next generation are in good condition to succeed.
Not long ago, maori rights were negatively perceived and hapu rights were unheard of. Today hapu rights is in a strong space and growing. It is a positive journey for everybody to benefit from.
Talks of summer responsibility are happening already to support a positive summer environment that is positive amd safe.
The final completion of the occupation means that we can now move forward as a community for the benefit of our mokopuna.
