Changes at Methven's recycling and reuse drop-off facility | Ashburton District Council Residents wanting to drop off reusable household items and whiteware at Methven’s recycling depot can only do so when depot staff are present.

If your bins were missed yesterday, leave them out at kerbside today.
Heads up Methven - a few streets were missed yesterday during kerbside bin collections.
If you're south of Forest Drive & west of Main Street, and your bins weren't emptied, please leave them at the kerbside, our contractor will be returning to the area today.

The Methven Community Board backs Line Road as a future refuse site and this will now be considered by Council in the next Long Term Plan 2027-37

Conserve water notice for Methven lifted | Ashburton District Council 2.30pm Update - The conserve water notice for Methven has now been lifted as the reservoir levels have recovered following the earlier outage.

The reservoirs have sufficently recovered following an earlier outage at the water treatment plant.
