Safer Mid Canterbury, through its Safe Communities Programme, is proud to be involved with the Tarbotton RideSmart Park project.

Safe Communities staff have provided co-ordination and funding expertise to the Working Group and Trust established to guide the project and seek community and business funding.

Interest in the project from local businesses and funders has been huge and we are excited to see Tarbotton Land and Civil come on board as major partner.

With the turning of the first sod this week, this incredible, community-funded project will soon become a reality for the people of Ashburton District to enjoy for years to come.
