Three injured in serious Auckland crash between bus and cars 06/06/2026

We want to acknowledge our firefighters who respond to these incidents and help safely extract you and your loved ones when the worst happens on our roads. Crews from Henderson and Te Atatu responded to this multi vehicle collision πŸš’

Recently across New Zealand there has been a number of fatal or serious injury crashes. We all need to do our bit to help make sure our roads are safe πŸ§‘β€πŸš’

Some road safety reminders:

Don’t drive under the influence 🚫🍺

Always wear your seatbelt πŸš—βœ…

No distractions while driving, Put the phone away and keep your eyes on the road πŸ‘€ πŸ“±

Speed matters. The faster you go, the bigger the mess. Better to arrive late than not arrive at all!Slow down and get home safely. ⚠️πŸ’₯

Slow down, stay focused so everyone gets home safely 🏑 🏠

❄️πŸ”₯ WINTER WARMER SAFETY CHECK πŸ”₯❄️

As the colder weather has arrived and set in. Now is the perfect time to make sure your winter heating sources are safe to use at home πŸ πŸ’™

Please note: This is NOT a same day service ⚠️

If you’re planning on using your fireplace this winter, remember to get your chimney cleaned/swept before lighting your first fire. A clean chimney helps reduce the risk of chimney fires πŸ”₯

If you are using a heat pump to keep your family toasty this winter. Make sure that you have cleaned the filters regularly this helps to keep the heat pump running efficiently. Remember to close doors to rooms you don’t need to heat to help heat travel to where you need it most πŸ›οΈπŸ§‘β€πŸ§‘β€πŸ§’β€πŸ§’

Lastly, it is a good time to make sure you have the correct amount of smoke alarms within your home (every bedroom, hallway and living area) Be sure to test to make sure they are working. Remember if you are sleeping with your bedroom door shut you need to have a smoke alarm in each bedroom🚨
