Explore the Art of Bookbinding and a Piece of Mackelvie History
Join the Rare Book Curators at Auckland Libraries for Performing Bindings, a special session showcasing over 300 years of bookbinding techniques from the Private Press Collections.
You’ll get an up-close look at beautifully bound works, including pieces by local binder Elizabeth Steiner, international book artists and a rare binding from the J.T. Mackelvie Collection.
