Long-term Shine Round the Bays supporters, Cordis Auckland out-performed their target and raised more than $1,500 to help families impacted by domestic violence.

Special shout out to 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 – our top fundraiser again – for raising an amazing $814, and to 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 who raised $439! We are so grateful for your drive and generosity.

Thanks to everyone at Team Cordis Auckland who got involved, raising awareness and vital funds to help Shine continue providing life-changing services for people who need them.

We are so moved by the story of Christchurch musician and family lawyer, Karra Rhodes . After reaching out to a domestic abuse helpline in her twenties, Karra found strength to change her life. Now she’s giving back in a big way.

Karra’s debut album, 𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑝𝑦, explores themes of healing and resilience. To support others on their journey to safety, Karra is donating proceeds from the album to Shine for an entire year—with her publisher, Big Pops, matching the contribution! 💜

The Shine team was so proud to march in the Rainbow Parade NZ over the weekend! We stand tall for a world where every person can live free from violence and fear.
