Well, here we are at the end of an era. By Saturday this week the Lounge in Howick will be no more.

We are hoping to sell some of our beautiful items and invite interested parties to make an appointment with Linda to view.

We will be taking appointments for viewings from Monday 19th Dec to Friday 23rd Dec and may do this again in January of there is the interest.

Oh, my goodness. We have had such amazing weekend at The Lounge.... Friday Bucklands Beach Intermediate...Great fun with a rockin playlist.. Saturday... The Stevie Nicks Xperience - I cant't wait tribute show bloomin brilliant.. and today an Amazing middle eastern baby shower for 100 beautiful ladies. Such an EPIC weekend.. Makes us super glad for the support but super sad to be leaving....

It is with great sadness and emotion that we are announcing the closing of The Lounge on 17th December.
As new owners of just over 2 years, we (Linda Ali and Lucy) have put 110% into the Lounge as a family and thoroughly enjoyed and relished every moment.
We have made amazing memories with many people and some good friends along the way. We have also been able to support local important charities and sponsor local clubs.
For us, it has been a total pleasure and privilege.
However, for Ali and Linda, our destiny has changed with a job opportunity for Ali down the line in Central North Island (Hamilton). Plus, Lucy is pursuing her own path in interior design and getting married!!!
This means Linda and Ali are moving out of Auckland…thus the Lounge is not continuing.
This was not an easy decision but one that we made as a family, and we hope you can respect that.
We will MISS The Lounge and the people we have met and engaged with BUT this is essentially a move for us not to be passed up.
We will continue to operate as normal until 17th December (we have several fully booked functions! So it will be an awesome send-off) and then we may have a few days of an Antique/Retro fair from 19th to 23rd Dec for anyone interested in purchasing and of our many and varied objects, furniture, and collectibles… there are sooo many!
We acknowledge the support of our community (we have lived in Howick for 18 years) and, of course, we are sad to leave but opportunity knocks and you either answer the door or hide behind the curtains … for those that know us – we do not hide!
