THANKFUL & THRIVING THURSDAY!
Our Travelwise Leaders would love to see our Panama Road School whānau take part in Thankful & Thriving Thursday on the 2nd July, as we celebrate the second-to-last day of Term 2!
We encourage all students to walk, bike, scooter, or skate to school and enjoy an active start to the day.
If your child is riding or scooting to school, please ensure they:
• Wear a helmet at all times riding, scooting or skating.
• Bring a bike lock/chain so their bicycle or scooter can be secured safely during the school day.
During both morning tea and lunchtime, students will have the opportunity to enjoy riding their wheels on our pump track!
Whānau Challenge!
Instead of driving right to the school gate, why not:
🚶 Walk your child to school if you live nearby, or
🚗 Park a short distance away and enjoy the walk together if you live further from school.
We'd also love to see you do the same in the afternoon for pick-up!
Keep an eye out... the Travelwise Pūkeko will be making a special visit for some fun photo opportunities! Don't miss your chance to snap a picture with this special guest!
Let's finish the term by travelling actively, staying safe, and showing our school spirit. We can't wait to see everyone getting involved!
