The sun was shining on Richard Hills, Margi Watson, Hon Simon Watts & Stacey Van Der Putten today for the sod turning ceremony.
Auckland Transport is delivering essential upgrades to Carrington Road, in partnership with project partners, to support local housing development and improve access, connectivity, and safety along this key corridor linking Point Chevalier and Mount Albert.

The Central Interceptor team have finished their mahi at Mt Albert War Memorial Park, and the lower carpark will re-open on Saturday 15 May.

The team have been working there since May 2022, to complete major construction on the site.

The second part of the Central Interceptor tunnel is set to go live in the coming months, this will reduce wet weather overflows into local waterways and beaches, thanks for your patience over this time.

We were all smiles in hi-vis going 'Uptown' to check out the progress of the Maungawhau Station. As part of the City Rail Link, Maungawhau Station will be a major rail interchange for people travelling to and from the city centre on the Western Line - Looking good 🚉🙌
