What's better than a day at a beautiful beach? Every weekend, hundreds of thousands of us flock to Ras Al Hamra's sandy shorelines which is open to public access.
Most beach lovers are surprised to see how much the beaches need our help, to be as clean and beautiful as we've all come to expect, when we head to the shore on summer evenings.
Volunteers were required to pre-register will be divided into 2 teams - Team Coastal Cleanup (TCC) and Team Underwater Cleanup (TUC).
The coastal team was in charge of clearing the leftovers of bottles and cans on the land while the underwater team attacked the remnants of plastic and debri in shallow waters.
I'm no doctor but I think everyone could use a little Vitamin Sea! xD
